Just my 2 cents...
Great idea. I'll vote after the weekend bout results are in.

Feel free to vote on your all-stars anytime. I'll accept votes till 01/26/07 or 01/27/07.

Would you guys prefer I post the voting results as I receive them and keep a running tally or wait and post the results when they are final. I've already received 5 manager's votes (including mine).

I vote for a running tally if I'm not mistaken the NBA, NHL, and MLB keep fans updated on the all star voting so I see no reason why we can't do it.

That's what I was thinking about exactly when I posed the question. I'll wait till tomorrow evening and post a running tally, that is if no one objects by then.

Moved from an earlier post

UTBA will hold it's first ever Gold vs. Silver All-Star match.

1)The UTBA All-Stars match will be held on January 29, 2007.

2)This match will not count towards the records of the fighters.

3)All individual titles will not be on the line since it is just an exibition match.

4)Managers can submit 2 names per weight class from their own conference and hopefully
everyone will not be "homers" toward their own guys.

5)Just send your votes to me by PM. I'll close the voting on 01/26/07 or 01/27/07.

I've got mine in expect for FW and FLY as I can't figure out who to vote in second position. Since candidates face off against each other this week it should clear the picture up.

Wow, Pete Frissina got a vote and it wasn't from me must say I'm surprised.

It looks like Lethal Liberal might get both of his Heavies on the all-star squad that would be a nice present after such a rough season.

Word of warning, if you run the fights within the current database the fights will count toward their aging totals. I accidently ran about 3 wrong fights, deleted all their history it was their 4,5, 3rd fights. The guy who was 4-0, I deleted his 5th fight and when he fought again it said he turned pre-prime after his 6th fight.

My advice is to send the database out and let someone else run the all-star match.

I'll be willing to run the all-star match. Since it's on the 29th which is a Monday I'll be out of school by noon so I'll have nothing else to do the rest of the day so I'll be able to have it posted early.

Thanks for the warning Mike. I was going to export the fighters to my laptop after your warning but I'll let Romy handle it instead.
