You'll send me your roster after the draft. That way if any of the fighters left in the draft pool are ones you want, you can add them to your roster.

Thanks for finding the errors Bear.

OK
I have a smaller cap but I'll also know what the rosters all will look like. That'll be the only edge I'll have. Finished my scouting. Now the wheels start turning. Even limited to two nines and two eights I have a lot of choices to make.

There may be more errors. I only scouted nines through threes.

Excellent job Sal.

I'm still off-line but should be back on in the next couple of days so I'll catch up properly. I'm well chuffed with Honeyghan but my featherweights look a bit dodgy. Haven't been able to do any trades due to being off-line, but I'll probably wait till the draft now.

Scot:

I will be in the New Hampshire wild without communication lines from Aug 12 to 19. How, if at all will that impact the draft? I am just a bit fuzzy on when that will start.

No problem on being away. I'll finish round 7 at the end of this week and then we will have the UTBA Championship & the individual tournaments to run. When all of this is complete, I would say the draft will take place no earlier than Aug 22nd.

On the other hand...................
we might start the draft while your away so we can watch you blow those three first rounders you picked up in trades.

Question Draft questions

Just so I'm sure I understand the upcoming draft procedure, a couple of questions (hope I didn't miss this info while I was moving last week. I tried to read through and catch up ...):

-- Are we no longer locked into X number of 3's, 10's, etc., so long as we stay at the 105 or less cap team total?

-- Are we doing a serpentine draft based on reverse order of finish?

-- Is there any rule or limit on number of suggestions/requests we may make to Scot for the draft pool as far as how many fighters or what rankings or weight classes?

Thanks in advance for any help/clarification.

From my understanding, all rounds are based on order of finish. It will be 3 rounds. You can draft anyone, as long as you stay under 105 after you make your cuts.

1) Correct. You just need to stay at 105 or less points after the draft and cuts are made to your roster.

2) Straight draft based on season finish. 16th place through 1st place each round. 3 rounds total.

3) No limit on suggestions. Just send them to me by PM so nobody will have an idea of who your interested in. The draft pool is already set. If fighters you suggest for the draft match a rating of one of the fighters in the pool, I'll replace the fighter in the pool with one you suggested.

Was it hot enough for the move? Hope all went well and you're getting settled in.
