Season 3: MVP Candidates - Silver Conference
Candidate #3:
Lightweight - Alexis Arguello (MexiVilles) Season 3 Record: 17-1-2 (10) The 1st of two MVP candidates representing the MexiVilles, Alexis Arguello is a former 2-time Lightweight Champion. He followed up an MVP-nominated Season 2 with a very successful single loss campaign in Season 3. His chance at regaining the Title for a 3rd time was halted prematurely and was offically ruled as a Technical Draw. Alexis looks forward to his 3rd consecutive appearance in the LW EOY Tournament in hopes of getting another shot at the Title. Alexis Arguello heads into the LW EOY Tournament as the #3 Seed. Season 3: MVP Candidates - Silver Conference
Candidate #4:
Bantamweight - Jeff Chandler (Cawkney Crusaders) Season 3 Record: 17-1-2 (7) Jeff Chandler, former BW Champion, lead a very strong and balance Cawkney Crusaders squad to a near-undefeated season. His only loss came by Split Decision in his last bout of the season. Unfortunately, Jeff was not given the opportunity in the regular season to fight for the Title he once held, but he confidently heads into his 3rd consecutive BW EOY Tournament looking to win it all. Jeff Chandler heads into the BW EOY Tournament as the #7 Seed. SEASON 3 HIGHLIGHTS:

Season 3: MVP Candidates - Silver Conference
Candidate #5:
Featherweight - Young Griffo (Hebron Haymakers) Season 3 Record: 18-1-1 (3) Light-hitting Young Griffo joined the rotisserie squad known as the Hebron Haymakers after an off-season blockbuster trade with the Boxing Kangaroos. Changing conferences did nothing to slow down this 2-time FW Champion from having another great season. In fact, his only loss was a disputed Majortiy Decison. Young Griffo also has become the first UTBA fighter in any weight class to have been nominiated for MVP in both conferences. He plans on renewing old rivalries when he enters his 3rd consecutive FW EOY Tournament. Young Griffo heads into the FW EOY Tournament as the #2 Seed. SEASON 3 HIGHLIGHTS:

Candidate #6:
Middleweight - Jermain Taylor (MexiVilles) Season 3 Record: 19-1-0 (12) Jermain Taylor finished his first full season w/ the MexiVilles with only 1 blemish on his record - a decison loss in his first bout. After the loss, he piled up 19 straight wins to become the MexiVilles 2nd MVP Candidate this season. Jermain has faced the toughest average competiton of all MVP candidates this season. He hopes to get his 1st crack at the Middleweight Title when he heads to his 2nd consecutive MW EOY Tournament appearance. Jermain Taylor heads into the MW EOY Tournament as the #2 Seed. This marks the first time in UTBA history that Iceteaboxing will not be representing the Silver in the team championship.
* I'm disappointed. There will be some changes. Peter Jackson, Prince, Herbie, Kid Choc, and Scarlette Johansson are safe. MJ

Congrats to the championship teams. Both matches were great, should be a very interesting final. Looking forward to the postseason individual tourney. I enjoyed my initial year in the UTBA and look forward to next season. Hopefully, with a change here and there and a few of my fighters moving up in rank,I will be a little more competitive next season. Good job by all involved in running the league and getting us the stats and ratings that make it so fun. Kudos. Peace fellas.

3rd UTBA Teaam Championship.....
Escobar Stadium, San Juan, Puerto Rico
The Cawkney Crusaders and the Bonner Springs Bald Beavers have just now entered the capacity filled stadium and are about set to begin battle for the UTBA Team Crown. Two individual titles will be at stake in this one also. The Beaver's Mickey Walker will defend his MW crown and the Crusader's LW Claude Noel will try to protect his title strap as well. Results to be posted as soon as we get them. |

Jermain Taylor split Season 2 between the Undisupted Champions (7 weeks) and the MexiVilles (2 weeks) while spending 1 week unemployed...
11-2-1 (4) for Undisputed Champions 2-2-0 (1) for Mexivilles With an overall Season 2 record of 13-4-1 (5), he would not qualify for Comback Fighter of the Year since candidates must have improved on a losing record from the previous year. His season 1 stats for Undisputed Champions: 9-5-0 (4) Not terribly impressive, but certainly not a "clown" |

Heck of a start for the Crusaders so far in the finals. It'll be interesting to see if they can keep up the pace.

Season 3: ROY Candidates - Gold Conference
Candidate #1:
Lightweight - Beau Jack (McCune Mitt Slingers) Season 3 Record: 14-5-1 (7) Beau Jack is one of the founding members of the expanison McCune Mitt Slingers and seems to have emerged as the leader after the departure of Dick Tiger late in the season. He seems to raise his game against tougher competiton while several of his losses were to less talented opponents. Beau was not given the opportunity to fight for the Lightweight Title during the regular season. Beau Jack heads into the LW EOY Tournament as the #8 Seed. SEASON 3 HIGHLIGHTS:
