Except you don't have any draft picks this year! But welcome anyways LOL

I was willing to part with McGuigan because of his continued failure in the post season individual tourney. Helps that McGovern is still pre-prime too. Now I'm a point over the cap .. Willing to look at any and all offers for my HW's.

Like Mike said you don't have any pick for this draft so y'all are going to have to trade the picks for next years draft. Of course, having had the honor of dealing with Mr. Gonzalez something tells me that Matt will probably be willing to work it out with you.

Generally speaking, I will probably be looking to trade after the draft/expansion team formation next week as it seems to be the only way to get the Cap Pts total above 95 the first year.

Trading is the only way ... check out what Sal did last year. He tended to ask people to pick up free agents and then trade them to him for picks and other fighters. He got up to 105 pretty quick.

I might be looking for some cap relief after the expansion rosters are set so you might be able to deal with me!

SAL was making deals before his roster was even officially set of course having someone offer Dick Tiger and Paolino Uzcudun for peanuts helped SAL max out quickly. I would suggest to the new guys to do the same thing as SAK after the draft check to see who's being offer or who might get cut and start trying to make deals even if your rosters not set. Getting the feelers out there and starting the talks early are a smart thing to do.

Hey Sal could you do me the favor of sending over the rating records and fighters dat of that database with the 11,500 fighters. I want to expand one of my databases for when I'm picking fighters for the draft and this seems to be the quickest way to do it.

I can send you the database that I have that has over 11,500 fighters if you want. I have not went through it looking for duplicates and such. It is just a holding db that I have to download user created fighters. The only reason I mention that db is I don't think we'll have a shortage of fighters for quite some time.
As for right now, I'm trying to stick with our original plan of using Trunzo rated fighters in the UTBA. I think we have only 7 user created fighters in the UTBA db right now. Also, we are using the jr.s and super classes of Trunzo rated fighters so I see no need to flood the UTBA DB with user created fighters yet.

I just sent you an updated version of the UTBA DB to your email addy. I forgot and didn't put a subject on the title in the email.

Thanks for the updated UTBA database it'll make things easier choosing fighters as now I don't have to deal with the Jr. and Super classes. I'll send this one out tomorrow when I get home from school.

Yeah, send me the large database please. I'll probably stick to the stock UTBA database for now but should the time come where I need to look elsewhere it'll be nice to have a large holding database sitting around waiting to be used.

For the 9 managers that will be selecting fighters to enter next seasons draft, let's keep it simple and add only fighters that are in the current UTBA database that Romy is sending out.

We have no need to add any user created fighters at this time. If there is a user created fighter that you are fond of and would like to add him to the league, just send me a request by PM and we'll see if we can't add him.

When you receive the update folder, you should have:
2,375 fighters in the Men group
320 in the UTBA group
325 in the Draft Pool group
0 fighters in the Holding group

One change that was made to the UTBA database, all fighters in the Men group are now only in 1 of the 8 original weight classes. There should be no fighters in the jr., super or cruiser weight class.

Total fighters = 3,020

I played softball for 3-4 years in Westfield - at the reservoir park. I've never seen mosquitos so bad.

OK when did Chris jump Dave and take control of his team?

My man is making big times big moves, TC is going very different next season. This is the second season in a row that the West Champion has radically altered his team in the off season hopefully for Dave it works out better for him then it did for me.

You want to see bad mosquitoes go down to South Florida where I was born. There are just huge swarms of the bastards each of them like the size of your head. I think they might be the official town bird.

I think Sal deserves some congratulations just for keeping track of who has which draft pick and who has traded their picks to someone else. Our league makes the NBA look pretty tame in comparison.

I guess I've just been lying in the weeds for 3 seasons with no trade activity, waiting for the right time to strike. Tomato City will enter Season 4 quite different - maybe not better right away, but definitely setting up the groundwork for Season 5. The way I got smacked around last season by both the Beavers and Bears warrants drastic measures.

Tomato City may not win the West, but should remain competitive.
