I think I might have been wrong and it's not the chat window. There is a large white space underneath the chat window that takes up close to half the screen.

For the rest of the league:
We're planning to create a banner for the UTBA HOF and we need ideas as to what make. Umk has been kind enough to agree to make the banner. So I putting it out there to see if one of y'all can come up with a idea for the banner.

Glad to hear someone actually reads through the stats flood. It seems that after I posted the stuff for week 2, the board went dead. I was expecting a few tumbleweeds to roll through.

Good luck to the Haymakers this week against the much improved Punching Bags.

I think a nice collage of Mickey Walker in action would make an excellent and appropriate banner for the UTBA HOF.

Wow,I am much worse than last season. I am afraid that I tinkered a little too much in the offseason. Oh boy, what a long season this is going to be...had high hopes. Congrats to Tomato..what an ass kicking! Very, very disgusting. Thought the additions of Sarron,Viruet,G.Johnson along with the others gaining experience would really help..hell,I was at least competitive most of the time last season. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Not to be nitpicky LL but the very excellent quote on your signature is correctly:

"Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both."

Although many of his famous quotes are from Poor Richard's Almanac, recycled by Ben, so this might be one of them.

Of course, when people intentionally misconstrue "liberty" for their own agendas, the quote's relevance is wiped away.

True, but also when freedom and democracy is really tyranny, domination and occupation...then the whole thing is really irrelevant. Anyway, really dont want to get into politics as this isnt the place and we have had a lot of trouble in the past....mainly,just like the quote wasnt really intended to be a jab at anyone personally..just think that it is interesting that the quote could come straight from todays news. Cubedrum has the quote word for word..mine was just what I had remembered from the quote. I do agree with you gforce that anytime that anyone in government or social environment brings their own personal agendas....then that is where it all starts to slip downhill. OK..back to boxing. My team needs a little security in the ring it looks like...wow..still havent recovered from that beatdown administered to me last weekend. Ouch...rough,rough match. Talk about running headlong into a buzzsaw.

I hate to be a PITA to the three of you because you all are valued by the board and me personaly but let's please not let this drift into a political discussion. The Off Topic forum exists for just this purpose.
