Season 4: ROY - Silver Conference

Candidate #6:

Flyweight - Pascual Perez (Chilton Roughnecks)
Season 4 Record: 13-6-1 (8)

Pascual Perez was selected as the overall #1 pick in the Draft. He filled the bill as the team's best fighter in his rookie season by tying for the team lead in Wins, and leading the team in both individual Points Scored and KO/TKO victories. But finishing the season on a low note with 2 losses and a draw, Perez missed out on the EOY Tournament. He did not fight for the FLY Title during the regular season.

Unfortunately, Pasucal Perez did not qualify for the FLY EOY Tournament.

SEASON 4 HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Scored 35 Points (Highest on Chilton Roughnecks / 11.25% of Team Total)
  • 35 Points was 4th Highest FLY in Silver Conference
  • Opponents Average Rating: 6.15
  • Notable Wins: W-S12 - Jorge Arce (8), W-KO8 - Roberto Vasquez (8), W-KO12 - Fermin Gomez (8)
  • Draws: D-12 - Fermin Gomez (8)
  • Losses: L-U12 - Jorge Arce (8), L-U12 - Roberto Vasqeuz (8), L-TKO6 - Irene Pacheco (7), L-TKO10 - Johnny Buff (7), L-TKO4 - Albert Belanger (6), L-TKO12 - Freddie Castillo (4)

With the draft approaching........I know some owners will be sending me lists of fighters to pick for them. I would like to ask that you hold off for a couple of days before sending in any draft lists. Since Chris won't be participating in this years draft, I'd like to prepare a draft list of my own by priority and send it to him before I see anybody else's draft picks.

Just to let you know, Sal. I'm working on the schedule for season five and I've put Antwerp into the Central division, replacing Long Island.

Well, this schedule should be easier then last seasons. Not having to face Tile Hill, the Bears, and a full strength Beaver team is nice. Starting off with a second year team and the Southpaws should get us to a nice start especially since Tomato City gets Tile Hill week 1 so I might get a chance to open up a early lead on the division. The two Tomato City matches, the Kangaroos, and Barbarians should be the toughest spots on the schedule.

Facing the Bald Beavers, Tomato City, Tile Hill, Bears twice and the Barbarians twice and not mention what will look like a veteran team in the Southpaws...........I can see myself making a run at Chilton's record.

Thanks for the schedule k_c.

EOY Season Awards Voting...................

I've received votes from 6 owners so far in the Gold for both MVP & ROY.

In the Silver......3 for MVP & 4 for ROY.

I'll close the voting in 5 days.

Well, on the bright side the Beavers are going into rebuilding mode so next season they probably will have a much younger team. Plus, you match up real good with the Bears.

I just wanted to remind everyone that I'm dangling some primo fighters:

Ike Ibeabuchi - an 8 that regularly beats 10's (ask Chuvalo or Schmeling)

Tommy Farr - a 9. Had only 1 loss during the regular season

Bernard Taylor - a 7 who has had a great career so far, regularly beating 8 and 9 rated fighters.

Rocky Kansas - another 7 who had a nice year for me.

Zab Judah - One of the top 3 Welters in the Gold division.

Any one of these guys will be an asset in your title run.

If you are interested, please PM me.

Matt

PS - I also have a SLEW of 2nd round picks, and 2 1st round picks. Would like to move up in the 1st.

I'd be willing to give you Jermain Taylor straight up for Judah or Ike

*** side note here Mickey Walker has at most 46 more fights at Prime ... allow the celebration to begin.

So Mickey has two full seasons and some left at most. What a great day for the Gold Middleweights that will be. Of course, Mike as a Silver owner I don't know why you would be celebrating as you still got a very young Carlos Monzon to deal with.

Why do you think I'm trading Jermain? Going with the two crappy MW's plan this year.

Muckboys send newly acquired LHW Miguel Angel Cuello and three 2nd round picks in this draft to the Bald Beavers in exchange for LHW Eddie Cotton.

***********************************
MexiVilles send WW Oscar De La Hoya and LW Paddy DeMarco to the Antwerp Southpaws for a fighter to be named later.
