That's why I decided it was time to move on. In the last three months, I've sent him PMs and saw where he was online after the PMs were sent and still no response.

Maybe the new owner will just assume the team with no expansion restrictions and not go the route Kalinik went and then again.....maybe not.

It would suck to lose Shane as a owner but if he's not responding to PMs then I perfectly understand SAL's move. Hopefully, we can find a new owner. If the Kangaroos get disbanded I call Vic.

The Minor Leagues vote is over and it has passed by only one vote.

With so many opposed to it, I hope it doesn't come back to bite our league in the backside.

Our next step will be to determine how we want to handle the drafting of the minor leaguers.
The draft will be a serpentine draft. (123 ... 321)

The draft order will be selected by random (drawn out of a hat so to speak).

I'm sending out a PM to all of the owners concerning the Minors. When you get it, please take a moment and respond to it.

On the draft order for the Minor Leagues...............

I have sent out a request to Mike to have him make a post here in this thread listing all 24 teams ordered top to bottom. When he does this (I have already sent Christopher a similar list but with numbers), Chris will match up the numbers I sent him to Mike's team list when he posts it and that will be our draft order for the Minors.

ROSTER CUTS

Bears Unstable releases:
  • HW (7)Ron Lyle 29-32-3 (26) *PRIME
  • MW (2)Mike Pusateri 0-0-0 (0) *beginning
  • WW (2)Rocky Kalingo 1-12-1 (1) *beginning
  • WW (3)Giovanni Parisi 0-6-0 (0) *beginning
  • WW (7)Kid Azteca 9-13-0 (3) *pre-prime

Tile Hill Top Team releases:
  • HW (7)Alex Stewart 31-46-2 (24) *PRIME
  • LHW (5)Chic Calderwood 26-51-2 (13) *PRIME
  • FW (5)Johnny Tapia 14-48-2 (7) *PRIME
  • BW (5)Digger Stanley 35-37-6 (9) *PRIME
  • FLY (10)Frankie Genaro 0-0-0 (0) *beginning

All rosters are now set.

I think I have a replacement owner for the Kangaroos and he has asked to keep the team and just assume ownership. I'm waiting on his reply.
I also told him I would give him 4 grace waiver moves if he wanted them. Since Shane was not around for the draft or waiver rounds, I thought this was only fair as the Kangaroos have a few problem areas.

Once the new owner is in place, I should be able to begin Season 5 late this weekend.

Reminder...........We are going to a 2 week real life time frame for every 1 week game week.

I would suggest a serpentine draft instead would be more fair. (123 ... 321)

I'll go along with that. Anybody have a problem of going this route, serpentine instead of straight.

I'm currently working on setting up an index of links to the UTBA's history on post #2 in the Almanac thread. This is an attempt to make finding the UTBA's history a little easier without having to search through an entire thread.

If anyone has any suggestions or would like to see something added to this post, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I still need to add the season point champions in each weight class, Dave's Top 10 best & Top worst lists and I'm currently working on building a schedule for season 3.
I don't know if I can come up with the end of the year rankings for season 3. It's missing.

*Note* Some of the links will take you to another post that has more links on it. I have tried to note this when I did that.

Here is the link to the post and I'll also add it to my sig.

... the Barbarians. 17th? Ugh!

SAL, I just got the PM. Been away from the computer for a while. I'm in.

For what it's worth, I agree with Mike that serpentine is the way to go for a new draft.

My roster ...

... is fine, Scot. Now that the last few straggling teams have released their players, though, I really need one more waiver round!

I just sent the updated database to Romy. For those that receive it, you should get it sometime today.

The PMs I sent concerning the minor leagues on whether or not you are going to participate in it, I have received conformations back from everybody except:
  • vistaman44
  • Tosti
  • Cubedrum
  • Kalinik
Did you get one from Shane? Anyone say they won't participate?

No word from Shane but I think we have a new owner to replace him.

2 so far said they will not be taking part and 1 said he probably won't draft but will fill his minors through the waiver wire over time.
