Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

I just arrived home, got unpacked and my brother-in-law brought over
my mail.

I'M VERY SUPRISED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys really shouldn't have done this but I must say guys.........I'm very touched.

The autographed glove by Mancini that you all chipped in on is one of the best gifts I have ever received in my life. I really don't know what to say at this time but you guys have put a really big smile on my face.

My wife has already told me that I can't bring it to bed with me to sleep with so it will fit very nicely on my basement wall.

A very BIG Thank You to all 23 league members:
Cubedrum, Janik, Don, Matt, Mark Elwood, Tom, Lee, TC, Christopher, John, Mark Jones, Steve, Hugh, Mike, Romy, Dan, Mark Smogyi, Tommy, Jim, Kerwin, Ian, David and Jeremy.

Damn SAL still can't figure that Barbarians riddle huh. Your FLY-BWs and LHW-HWs screwed you over. Still on the brightside you know next time they will probably do better then 1-15 so maybe you'll get the win next time around.

Probably the biggest mistake in Mitt Slinger history, the trade for George Chuvalo.

The Mitt Slingers have placed HW George Chuvalo on the trading blocks. I'll let him go somewhat cheap. A 2nd round draft pick (don't care what season) or a decent 5 to 9 rated heavyweight. Don't everybody lineup at once for this guy.

I'm starting to grow a bad taste in my mouth for the Barbarians. Hell, I used to like watching Conan the Barbarian movies. Now I won't even watch them anymore when I see they're on TV.

I really liked Chuvalo when he was a member of Tomato City, but as you have seen he tends to come up small at the wrong times. Also disappointing was the number of times he keeps getting stopped even though he has a granite chin.

... do the Barbarians win when Olivares and Aragon both lose twice, Greco goes 0-1-1, and Laciar and Cocoa Kid both lose their straps?

Answer: My bantams and heavies went 8-0 with 5 stoppages. I never count on more than three wins in those two classes.

I just keep slipping by the 'Slingers, despite the great performances of some of his guys. Others let him down ...

As an old advertising guy, I gotta say that you guys are LOUSY marketers.

Oh, and Scot, you are welcome. If you choose to bring the glove to bed, I take no responsibility for the effects on your marriage tho.

Also, you probably know this, but in case you don't, Mike's the guy that coordinated this and made it all possible.

See, I've tried to explain the value of rostering ex-Beavers, but it seems to be getting by people!

Good old Richie Sandoval has embued your roster with that winning spirit Mark. You should thank him for his 2 victories and declare him fighter of the week for his inspirational impact on your team's success!

It seems as though you have Chris's patience threashhold coming in to this year Scot. I was surprised he lost both of them matches. He usually does fine against 7 and lower rated fighters, its the higher rated fighters he always struggled against when I had him.

A few months ago I saw a GREAT documentary on Chuvalo through netflix. The name escapes me now, but I'll see if I can resurrect my fading memory.

Your change of heart is appreciated. I am not sure of the outlook as far as future openings go but I am certain you would be a welcome addition if opportunity should come up. I know individually speaking I am a casual boxing fan at best but this league is absolutely great. Great people, well run and just fun to be apart of.

Great win KC. It looks like Williams is back in his early season form from last season. Monzon is a freaking animal, I could see him easily going undefeated again.
