There is a very good reason Gatti has been on 4 different teams over the course of his short career. The guy is the WW verison of David Tua and Jhonny Gonzalez, all he's going to do is take up cap space and give you a headache.

Damn,I really need to bounce back. I look at my team compared to last season and it looks so much better, just dont understand my opening day loss. While TC has a good team and is not an expansion team,I still thought that I would at the least make it a very close match(within 5pts). Oh well, the fans of Left Jab are screaming for my neck...if I dont put a winner together soon I may be in trouble..LOL. Take care guys and good luck to everyone but the Barbarians this week. LOL. I think it may take about 3-4 weeks into this season before we really know who is gonna contend and who are gonna pretend. Well,it should be exciting anyway. Special thanks to jbergey and Sal for helping Left Jab with the rookie draft. My father is still hanging in there but is showing signs of lapsing into a coma. I appreciate all the kind words and well wishes as well. Means a lot. Take care fellas...enjoy.
Sorry to hear all that man, hopefully everything works out ok.

Has anyone other than Hebron been dumb enough to have all three on their roster at some point?

Not yet. But my team is only one season old. There is plenty of time still

Speaking of disapointing fighters...Thomas Damgaard was a real disapointment. A 6 rated fighter that goes 1-19 in a season is nothing but useless, beginner or not.

All in all i'm pretty happy with my 36 points against Bears Unstable. That's just a way better team than i am. We'll be there in a few years...

I've got Zapata down in Fly, nothing in Bantam and Feather and then pretty strong from Lightweight up. Qunitana, Mayweather, Harding, Monzon and Williams all put up 6 points in week one and Benton scored 5. That's three-quarters of the teams total points from those six guys. I'm hoping they can keep on producing like that.

my worst pick up ever was MW (5) William Joppy, who went 0-17-1 (0) in 1 season.

I started as an expansion team and kept myself at the 95 cap my first year. Suffered my share of beat downs for eight weeks. My team was bad enough to earn the right to draft Archie Moore with the second overall pick,

9 days since Sal posted this ... do we need to do a wellness check on him?

I would guess nothing worse than taking a well-deserved breather. I hope that is the case anyway; it would be terrible if something bad has happened in Scot's life. A long break in the action is not really a concern to me regardless the reason.

Hope all is well Scot!

I was starting to wonder where our fearless leader was as well. Maybe work got busy for him or he's somewhere fondling that glove Mike got him or something. Hopefully, he can find time to start week 2 this weekend or at least post and let us know he's alive.

Going with the flow

Evidently, Milwaukee Brewers fans are taking a vow to vacate their bladders en masse should their beloved Brewers make the playoffs:

http://www.peeyourpantsforthebrewers.com/

There's a rumor afoot that Muckboys ownership has made a similar pledge on behalf of his UTBA squad...

Now that's what I call inspiration!

After missing the playoffs two years in a row, I'm willing to do what I need to get back there. So if that means pissing myself so be it.

Scot, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we will happily pee ourselves to see you back online with us again!

I'm guessing, knowing the age of some, a few of us might pee ourselves regardless, but I hope you'll appreciate the sentiment nonetheless.

Edit: Let's just say a flood of well wishes is flowing in your general direction.
