Thanks again for the welcome back guys.

I missed doing this league also. Just caught up on my chores around the house and I'm headed for the shower. Week 2 will start tomorrow night. Sorry again for being AWOL and not letting anybody know (the unexpected trip away from home came up all of a sudden).

Thanks for sharing the Mancini story Tom.

Welcome back Scot, I thought I had posted earlier but aparently it didnt stick(internet probs). Very nice on helping out Greensburg, its nice to see when someone actually cares enough to help without any personal gain. Once again you have gone above and beyond Scot.

Sorry for the delay again. I've been away from the league for three weeks and it's taking me a little bit to get back into the swing of things.

I'll post what I can tonight (it's slow going for me.......so don't expect a lot) and in the morning.

I'm leaving again for 3 days starting in 14 hours. My daughter plays in the ASA Softball State Championship this weekend at Topeka.

Despite the Unstable's success the last couple of seasons I think that the last two matches have finally put us over .500 for all of our bouts. Takes a while to overcome being an expansion club.

Crap, Bear's post just reminded me that I haven't updated my lists. I'll have to get to that tomorrow.

Thanks, LL

Last week my heavies and bantams carried me. This week they went 1-7 and it was the welters, flys and MWs.

Wait, how in the world did my middleweights post two wins???!!!

Brent Cooper.

Edit:
I forgot to post that Luis Maldonado & Ronnie Clayton advanced to Prime in the Barbarian/Left Jab match.

I'm going to copy all of the team matches I have run so far from week 2 and put them on my lap top. Maybe while I'm away the next three days, I'll find some time to post the bout results from the hotel and keep week 2 moving along.

UPDATE ON MY STATUS!
I almost didn't make it home with all of the flooding in Kansas. I live about 600 yards from a major river that has already flooded and is expected to rise another 9 feet by morning. I've spent most of the day helping the few neighbors I have evacuate that already have water in thier houses. I'm stranded at my home with 4 other people and feel like I'm on Gilligans Island right now. Talk about a run of bad luck..........I'm getting the shaft right now.

I hope the water stays away from my house but it's not looking to promising right now. Later guys and I'm sorry about the delay for week 2 results.

Sorry to hear that, Scot. I hope everything works out for you.

The same thing happened to my sister's family with the flooding we had here a couple of weeks ago. Apparently the water was four feet deep at the shops down the road from her house and my sister's neighbourhood had no power for four days. We saw a lot of the aftermath when we arrived there and I feel very fortunate that the same thing didn't happen at our place.

Angry Man ...!

Hang in there, Scot.

I'll never forget when this happened to you last time, a couple of years ago. I drove by, heading back for El Dorado after my weekend at home in NW Arkansas, and saw your entire drive and entry road was covered by flood waters from the Neosho River. I know that was an awful mess then, and I hope it's not as bad for you this time. Thoughts and prayers will be with you.

This pretty much says it all. Really crappy that you have to worry about this especially after the volunteer work you just did. You deserve better.
