I know there is a nice guy under there somewhere Mike. The Mancini gloves proved it imo. You're not that tough

The two games we lost were by scores of 2-1 and 1-0 but we still qualified for Nationals (a 5 day event) which will be held either back in St. Louis or Indiana in two weeks. I'll finish posting week 2 this week and open the waiver wire and get everybody's roster up to date including the minor leaguers. Then maybe in between the next couple of weekends, I can can complete week 3. After two more weeks, I should have all the time I need to dedicate to the UTBA as the softball season will be over. I feel like I have let all the owners down in this league and I apologize. I never thought my summer would happen the way it has so far.
Take your time Scot. Whenever the UTBA fires up again, it will be just like you never left.

Anyways, a lot of us are Beta testing TBCB3 right now, so your sabbatical is actually good timing...

Good luck in the tournament

Thanks for the best wishes on my daughter's softball team guys. I feel very good about our team right now as it is an 18 and under team and most of the girls we play against will eventually be playing at major colleges next year.

Your right Mike.......my daughter will always have daddy issues but not during softball as I have two other coaches helping me and I let them take care of her and her attitude.

The UTBA will be put on hold due to the beta testing and rating group I'm taking part in. My mind works in small volumes so I best stick with one thing at a time.

Understandable Scot, Would you like us to find a temporarily commissioner while you work on the other things you have volunteered for? You have put a lot of time into this and deserve a break if you'd like.

If somebody would like to take charge and keep this running that is fine with me although a large number of league members are doing the same as myself and will not have time to keep up with the league either. I can email the records and database I have to any volunteer if this is the direction the league members wish to travel. A few have already expressed their opinion to me that are on the beta team that they would just like to see the UTBA on hold until the beta testing is over as they would not have the time to devote to the the league.

I'd rather just put it on hold until we settle down in the beta testing but whatever you guys chose to do is fine. jbergey would be a fine assistant commissioner

Like you I, and several other members of the UTBA, am pre-occupied with the beta testing.

Putting the UTBA on hold for now is probably a good idea with so much going on with the Beta Testing and such.

Ok thats fine. Beta testing will probably take quite awhile. And I just miss the league By the time TB3 comes out we may lose a lot of members which I certainly hope not as Id like to see this continue. Plus on a more selfish not I have been waiting almost 2 months to see a follow up to the 61 point opening day performance Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the beta testing and please dont change the current fighters of the UTBA too much in case we want to upgrade the league to TB3...

I have no problem putting it on hold through the Beta testing process and I don't see anyone leaving. Scot you have done an awesome job, as has everyone involved in the reports and stats...No apology or explanation necessary.

I miss it as well and hope that we will not loose anyone. For Scot in particular, he is part of the database group as well as the beta testing group. The former may take even more time than the later.

Having someone else run this would be fine with me except for one matter - the updates. Who ever took it over would have to re-invent the wheel in another thread because they would not be able to access Scot's posts. We are sort of painted into a corner with that.

I miss the league and visiting with all the owners too. The UTBA duties will not die for me because of the beta testing. As far as rating fighters taking my time, they will be a nice break to do in between running the UTBA. I don't see any problems from myself in doing both.

You just gotta find your grove .. I didn't lose much time on the LBA with beta testing TBCB2 .. don't plan on it with TBCB3 either.

The time away just gives my Guards more time to hone their skills for the big comeback. Then again, swiggin' Guinness and chomping on corned beef may be the wrong way to go
