The Free Agent Waiver wire will open this Sunday. The waiver wire ranks have been checked and are ready to go on Sunday. Remember, we changed the waiver period to four 24 hour periods each and by waiting till Sunday, this will put us back on schedule with the rules. If there is a lack of activity in the waivers, we will shut it down early and proceed to week 3.

We also made a change from the previous seasons on how the waiver ranks would be established. They are established at the end of each season just as they have always been but once established, the only thing that will merit a change in them during the season will be legal waiver claims. A teams record no longer has any bearing during the season on where they sit in the waiver ranks.

You will have to add another set of flags to the image folder to take care of the Minors.
