Pound-for-Pound Rankings

Here's the first set of Pound-For -Pound rankings this season.

These rankings will become a regular after each week of action.
There are eight MW's total in the top 20 and five of the middleweights find their way into the top 10.

That reminds me of a dandy little trade that I made some time ago.

Me, too.

Happy to be one of the few teams with two guys in this group. Ice Tea, Hebron, Juggernaut, and Unstable. Interesting that the wealth is spread around with 16 different teams.

I almost punched my computer screen when I saw him. Worse move ever on my part and the worse part is that since I cut him I didn't get anything in return.

Nice to see Dick up there so high but I have problems thinking of him as a Top 5 Pound for Pound fighter in the UTBA. those recent wins over Flowers and Pender must of boosted him up the ladder.

I like the rankings and they should come in handy when deciding who makes it in the EOY PfP tournament.

Wait till he beats Tiger this week to punch that screen.

I may or may not cut the PfP ranks to the top 10 in the weeks to follow and post a top 20 every 2 or 3 weeks.

I will start posting the top 5 PfP fighters in each weight class though to go along with the overall PfP rankings starting next week.

UTBA Team Comparisons

Here are some more useless stats. The chart below shows a points scored breakdown by weight class per team. It lists the percentage of each weight class contribution to the team's total. Highlighted values in "tourquoise" indicate that this weight class is the highest point producer for a team while highlighted values in "yellow" indicate the lowest point producer for a team.

The right side of the charts lists the raw points scored values and are also highlighted as listed above.

This is a good, quick way to judge what a team's strengths and weaknesses are compared to division rivals as well as the rest of the league. Also it can be a good reference when deciding on any roster moves to shore up a roster.

Good to see that Carruthers seems in form again. He was a cornerstone for us in the last season and I had some mixed feelings when he was ko'd by Zarate and Akeem.

Ouch! Not a very good showing for us this week. The first half really killed us. Oh well, there is always next week.
