Something to think about.

In the current database we use for the league, active fighters that are in service (currently on a team) have been adjusted by me so they would work with the current career age adjustment feature. The new updated game has taken care of this aging problem.

So the question is........how are we going to handle these active fighters when switching the league over to the new format?

If we switch the current active fighters that are in the league over to the new game format, their ratings will suffer badly (only fighters that were rated other than Prime/Active will be the ones affected). Just some food for thought.

We probably need to get a handle on this and decide how we want to proceed when the new release comes out......then we'll have a plan in place when it is time.

Not 100% positive but if you were to create a new default Prime rating record, to go alone with the rating all ready there, then it shouldn't affect the fighters in question. From the way I understand it the new system works off the default prime rating record and only creates new rating records if one for that career stage isn't there. So Donald Curry for example would use the Pre-Prime rating record he already has and then would switch to the Prime record, that you created before switching, when he hits Prime and then from there the game would auto-generate Post-Prime and End records when their needed. If I'm right then making the move isn't that big of a deal and nothing should be affected of course I could be horribly wrong as well. Maybe Mike or Chris will have a better idea as to what needs to be done.

In other news...................................

At Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New Haven, CT, Tomato City is entertaining the Muckboys from Florida. They are mid-way through the first half of the team match and the Muckboys are hanging onto a 2 point lead.

The current scoreboard reads Muckboys 4-3-0 (3) = 11 to Tomato City 3-4-0 (3) = 9.

The 8th bout of the evening is featuring a title bout in the LW division between Champion Ernesto Espana vs Edwin Rosario. At the end of five rounds the judges have it 48-47, 45-50, 46-49......Rosario. There have been no knockdowns or cuts but Espana's right eye is beginning to swell pretty bad.

When I hear more on this match.......I'll report back in.

It looks like the new owner knows what he is doing. Anyway, he's doing a better job than I did with those guys. I think that is the most points scored by that franchise.

Nice hopefully we can keep the lead somehow. What fight is that one judge watching from the scores it seems that Edwin is winning easily but the guy still has Espana winning? LETS GO EDWIN.

HA, Lopez in on a two fight winning streak YES. Last time Lopez won two fights in a row was back in Week 4 and 5 of season 4 when he beat Barry McGuigan by DQ and Victor Polo by KO. Maybe the man decided to finally try and save his job.

Ha, well there goes Dick Tiger's stay in the Top 5 PfP. The man beats Pender only to turn around and lose to Anton Raadik that makes no sense. Well, it's not a win but it's not a lost either so I'll take especially considering that i went 0-7-1 (5) in my LHWs and HWs. Great match Dave good luck until we meet again.

Great to see Edwin pick up the belt and defend it. I think he has a real good shot at having a nice long title reign. He has a tough fight against Nazarov next week and a battle with Art Aragon a couple of weeks from now that are going to be tough but if he gets by those two I think he has a real shot at having another undefeated season. Hopefully, he can do it.

Saving the best for last, I think it will be a surprise to no one that this week's MVP for the Muckboys is Danny Lopez. It's been a long time since he's gone 2-0, week 3 of last season, and Barry McGuigan is a huge win for him. I'm not going to get my hopes to high but he might finally be turning things around. I think the commish calling him out lit a fire under Danny lets see how long he can keep it going.

New Haven mayor John DeStefano has just proclaimed that today 14 December 2007 is "Anton Raadik Day" based on his victory over Dick Tiger!!!

Great match Romy. The race to the playoffs is really going to be a dogfight. Just don't overlook Left Jab Inc next week. They've got a really improved team this season and are on the verge of picking off one of us off. (At least I escaped w/ a slim 5 point win over them last week)

BTW, 6-rated Mark Breland owns 10-rated Donald Curry. He is now 3-0 against him!!!
