Sorry guys. I've been mowing and just finished. Trying to get ready for 40+ people at my house this weekend.

OK..........here it goes. I'll accept team rosters now. I haven't had time yet to post the ground rules but it looks like a few have the jest of what I was trying to accomplish.

Roster Guidelines:

1) Team cap will be 100 points.

2) There are no restricted fighters rated between 3-10 (exception, see rule 3) in the stock 2.5 db. You may pick whomever you want, even if the fighter was on any of the old UTBA rosters.

3) You will be allowed a maximum of 1 fighter rated 10 and 1 fighter rated 9 if you so choose on your initial roster.

4) No one has exclusive rights to any fighters from the old league.

5) Any fighter picked by multiple owners will be removed from their respective rosters and the owners will be notified by me that you need to select an alternate fighter. You may make an attempt to select the same fighter 1 more time but if that fighter is duplicated for a second time, that fighter will be removed from the db for the initial roster set-up process.

With that said, any owner can attempt to select any fighter who was previously on another owners UTBA Season 5 roster. An owner does not have the right to protect any fighter. No one has exclusive rights to any fighters.

The only issue would be if either IceTea or any other owner also selects Prince Charles Williams. In that case, Prince Charles Williams would be tossed from the initial selection lists and the owners would be notified by Scot (SAL) to select an alternate fighter.

This system would kind of be a middle ground for both veteran owners and newbies. There is a chance that a veteran owner can retain part of his roster from the old UTBA, but it also allows newbie owners unrestricted access to all fighters between 3-10 in the 2.5DB

I didn't pick anyone from any of the other teams since I figured that there would be a high chance of ending up with a duplicate if I did. Hopefully, no one tries to rid the Muckboys for too many fighters.

Yes, it is good to see the West is still all together. I still love the fact that pretty much all the West team are located in the East. I guess the league uses that new geography.

I look forward to seeing the "new look" Tomato City and starting up our rivalry again. I took this chance to complete the change in direction I was planning with the old Muckboys so we're ready to come take that division title from y'all.

Bring on the "new" Muckboys!!! If Danny Lopez is on the team, Tomato City has nothing to worry about

Our 2008 commencement was held this evening. I'm now on vacation til June but I'm suffering from post semester burnout. I'll going on my roster tomorrow after I get back from a short visit to my sister's.

No worries Bear, you've got some time. A few of the guys have already warned me they will not be very quick to respond. Life has a way of getting in the way of TBCB sometimes.
