I think we owe Shane and his Boxing Kangaroos some congratulations.

He is the only owner to make it out of the first round with a complete roster on the first try.

In the meantime......let me introduce you to Nebraska's own corn-fed ring girl.

We obviously grow some good corn in these parts.

Unstable will keep all of the former team info the same. We'll still be at Paradise City. Julie Newmar as Catwoman will be our ringcard girl of choice. It's not as old school of a choice as Ms. Bankhead but my feelings about Julie haven't changed in 40 years. These begin with the letter L....loyalty

Someone asked about possible team colors. I'll go for standard Bear colors: Orange, Navy Blue, and White. I'm from Chicago after all.

Beaver team colors are pink and tan.

We changed up ring card girls to Olga Kurylenko this season. All other info remains the same, including the cast of characters in the corner.

Team considered changing the name to "Bald Mickeys," but it just didn't seem to have the same ring to it.

Pretty solid squad as well. Carruthers will serve the Kangaroos as well as he did with us before.

We'll be rocking Blue and Black as the team colors and I don't remember if I mentioned it before but I want to keep the same cornermen.

and us as well. Carruthers was on my short list of former Beavers. I'm glad he didn't land on a team in my division.

Since I gave up on Britt LW, here are my other 3 rated LW selections:

You can now submit replacement picks to me by PM. Be sure that you understand the rules below and remember, no 0's, 1's or 2's and only one 10 and one 9 on your roster.

Fighters that have been duplicated on one or more rosters have been removed from the respective rosters. Listed below are the fighters that have been duplicated and by whom (the owners name).

Owners that have fighters removed form their roster must submit replacement picks (fighter/s) to fill the void on their roster to me by PM. You can pick the same fighter that was removed from your roster if you choose but remember, if that fighter is duplicated again for a second time by the same owners, that fighter will be removed from the UTBA II fighter pool and not be allowed on any team during this initial roster set-up.

If you did not have one of these fighters listed on the duplicate list below on your original roster, you are not allowed to submit one of their names as a replacement pick for your roster void.

Also, any fighter that was not duplicated on the original rosters, is now on an official roster and is protected meaning that these fighters are not allowed for replacement picks to owners needing to fill roster voids.

Here is a link to the team rosters where you can find all of the teams current rosters with their protected fighters listed on them.
Rosters Link Page

For the new guys, on each roster page, I have the owners user name listed next to the team name. That is a direct link to their PM. Easy access to PM them if you're wanting to make trades and such. Also, trades will be allowed, but your team cap must remain at 100........no more.........or no less.

I've reached the point where I'm starting to second guess myself too much and have sent my choices in to SAL.

My choices are in. Is there any prize for last place? I feel sorry for Matt and Bear, having to change so many! Almost no one wanted mine, and i'm afraid as to what that signifies!

Don't sell yourself short. You have a number of guys that were on my short list for weight classes and ratings. I'm especially intersted in following Henry Hank's achievements in the league. Liked him when he was available in the old UTBA but didn't want to invest much more than KO Lausse's 6 cap points in the MW snakepit of the old UTBA. Lausse was invaluable to me in the old league snagging a few points for me in a tough division. When I formed Unstable as an expansion club I was just hoping he'd be an Anton Raadik type guy and he exceeded my expectations. Of course I also picked the absolutely useless Caveman Lee on my team. Because I came in as an expansion club I opted for fighters that gave me a puncher's chance. Since most of them were also chinny I addition to leading the world in KO wins I think I also led in stoppage losses.

Sure paid my dues as an expansion club, but I did manage to win a conference title. Don't know if that was a credit to my judgement of talent or being lucky enough to have a stud like Archie Moore on the club. Did have to juggle my roster around with Moore and Ricardo Lopez as well as three 9 rated guys for the last go round.

Glad to see Anton Raadik getting his props. For a 6-rated guy in the tough MW division, he was definitely an important part of the Tomato City team in UTBA-I. I was worried a bit that someone else would try to grab him for UTBA-II, but am now very happy that he's back on the "new" roster.

Good mid-range performers are vital cogs and I'm equally glad that Lausse is back on my club. With the unstable he was like the Little Engine the Could.

Waiting to see if Thunder will take my trade offer before I submit ... I don't see Diggstown on the turned back in list so I will keep hoping.

... with Bears colors for Chicago, I guess it's only fitting I roll out my red-and-white Cardinals colors for St. Louis (and Nebraska, amigo Scot!)
