I'm just about finished with draft pool numbers that I'll be adding over the next 50 UTBA seasons.

k_c is re-doing the schedule for me. The schedule length will be 10 game weeks per season.

Romultiltus will be cross checking the UTBA rules for me.

We will have 2 conferences, both with conference champions and they will square off for the World UTBA team title each season.
(We will still have the 3 division winners plus 1 wild card team from each conference in the entire playoff format. 8 teams total).

The individual points system will be what Romultiltus posted in his rules adjustment thread.

I just wanted to make sure this is what I wanted in place before starting the league off because the items listed above will never be subject for change by vote. We will have to live them once the league starts......like it or not. I feel it is important for these to remain constant year to year in order not to distort any UTBA records.

Another change will be the way we draft. We will draft rating numbers and not fighter names. You'll draft a rating number and then have the honor of naming which fighter you pick to match that rating number. Exception to this is I'll add in the fighters sitting in the waiver pool to the draft pool. These fighters will have names and records of course.

If all goes well with the checking of the rules and the schedule.......the UTBA II will start this Saturday, May 24, 2008.

I just tried to send out the UTBA database to everyone but I kept getting a error message when I hit send. It's possible the email did go out to a few people so if you see about 20 messages from me then that was from me hitting send over and over again due to the error. I deleted all the email addys I had from the first UTBA so I was using the ones SAL gave me and I think a few might have been out of date. From a message I think the email addys I have for Chris, Umk, and Gunsmoke are wrong so if you guys can send you your real ones that would be great. Everyone else check to see if the message went through and let me know. If it hasn't then can you give me your email addys so I can make sure everything is correct before trying again.

Finished the rules up for the UTBA II and Dave accepted them.
There were some changes and a few additions. The rules on the first post of this thread have been updated.

Changes and adds:

• Inter-Conference play
• Changes in the tie-breaker methods
• Aging
• Referee and Judges
• Draft Pool
• The draft itself (would like to do it similar to the way jbergey conducted the minor league draft)
• Retiring fighters manually
• Expansion teams

If anybody cares, here is my list of numbers for fighters I'll be adding to the draft pool after each season. I'm sorry if it doesn't make much sense.

UTBA II Draft Pool additions:

90 fighters will be added to the draft pool at the end of each season.
They will be added by weight class at the end of each season using the following numbers.

HW - 17 fighters will be added each season
LHW - 9 fighters will be added each season
MW - 13 fighters will be added each season
WW - 13 fighters will be added each season
LW - 12 fighters will be added each season
FW - 10 fighters will be added each season
BW - 8 fighters will be added each season
Fly - 8 fighters will be added each season

The overall rating of the fighters added to the draft pool will be ratings between 1-15 but will vary from season to season.
In certain seasons, some weight classes will see no fighter rating added to the draft pool any higher than an 8 or 9.

Listed below is a breakdown of additions to the draft pool by overall rating and how many of fighters will be added over 10 seasons:
