but I'm counting the minutes before you dump poor "Tex" Cobb. 0-4 is a little disappointing. I'm actually kinda rooting for him to do better - unfortunately it looks like another bad season for him. Bring on Sinan Samil Sam!!! |

Boxing Kangaroos vs. Tomato City
September 12,2006: Veterans Memorial Coliseum, New Haven, CT
The Boxing Kangaroos made the long journey to the states and the hosting Tomato City didn't treat them very well. Tomato City tied the Bald Beavers league record for most points scored in a team match with 56 today and they also set a new standard for most KOs in a team match with 14 breaking the old record of 13 set by 3 other teams. Boxing Kangaroos had two champions in action and their results are posted below. Two things.......................
First, I'll be a little slow posting the remaining three matches tonight but they will be posted before I go to bed. Second, Romy brought up an injury question yesterday and got me to thinking. Bad thing for me to do, I know. A fighter loses a fight by TKO due to hurting his hand badly and can't continue. Do we want to consider this type of a TKO an injury that will make a fighter miss two rounds of action? The reason I'm asking, it happened again. |

I have to give Cobb more of a chance as one of my all-time favorites. Of course, I might be persuaded to swing a deal hat involves Larry Boardman. ![]()

Wow, that was a beating I have to say that really makes me feel good about my match as the Kangroos handled the Barbarians. Of course, that question is was it because the Barbarians that bad or was the Kangroos just on fire that night.
As for injuries, yeah drop them if it'll make things abit easier on ya. They really haven't play a part in the UTBA so far so it shouldn't make much of a different if we just got rid of them.

Dropping injuries altogether is my vote. We're rolling along really good now and SAL is continuing to do a fantasitic job. Although I'm not opposed to injuries, it might just complicate things a little too much.
With all that he does, SAL should not have to read through all of the fight logs just to find possible injuries. |

Muckboys vs. Brazilian Barbarians - Round 2
September 12, 2006: Olympia Hall, Sao Paulo, Brazil
The brash talking Muckboys barely squeaked out a victory tonight. Trade talk surfaced in the Barbarian camp last week concerning their middleweight Vito Antuofermo. The trade talk must have pissed him off as he reeled off two victories in a row tonight for the first time in his UTBA career. Scoreboard: Muckboys 16-15-1 (9) = 42 Brazilian Barbarians 15-16-1 (8) = 39 Bout Results: (Muckboys listed first) HW- Tommy Morrison L TKO2 Joe Mesi HW- Tommy Morrison L UD12 Michael Dokes HW- Matt Skelton L KO8 Joe Mesi HW- Matt Skelton W UD12 Michael Dokes LHW- Julio Gonzalez L KO11 Bob Foster LHW- Julio Gonzalez L UD12 Mike Rossman LHW- Melio Bettina L KO6 Bob Foster LHW- Melio Bettina Draw TD5 Mike Rossman MW- Paul Pender L TKO5 Robert Villemain (Robert Villemain advances to pre-prime) MW- Paul Pender L UD12 Vito Antuofermo MW- Walter Cartier L UD12 Vito Antuofermo MW- Walter Cartier W UD12 Robert Villemain WW- Kermit Cintron L UD12 Cocoa Kid WW- Kermit Cintron W MD12 Johnny Greco WW- Andrew Lewis L TKO5 Johnny Greco WW- Andrew Lewis L TKO1 Cocoa Kid LW- Rodolfo Gonzalez W UD12 Art Aragon (Art Aragon advances to pre-prime) LW- Rodolfo Gonzalez W KO4 Ernesto Espana LW- Edwin Rosario W TKO4 Ernesto Espana LW- Edwin Rosario W KO8 Art Aragon FW- Troy Dorsey W KO8 Richie Lemos FW- Troy Dorsey W UD12 Ruben Olivares FW- Carmelo Negron W TKO2 Ruben Olivares FW- Carmelo Negron L KO10 Richie Lemos BW- Jose Medel W TKO10 Khaokor Galaxy (Jose Medel advances to pre-prime) BW- Jose Medel W TKO7 Gilberto Roman BW- Pete Frissina L UD12 Gilberto Roman BW- Pete Frissina W MD12 Khaokor Galaxy Fly- Candido Tellez W TKO9 Isidro Perez (Candido Tellez advances to pre-prime) Fly- Candido Tellez L MD12 Freddie Castillo Fly- Hugo Soto W UD12 Freddie Castillo Fly- Hugo Soto W KO8 Isidro Perez * ROSTERS ON PAGE ONE HAVE BEEN UPDATED

Man, I'm about tried of Paul Pender's garbage the man lost to two lower rated fighters today and he hasn't scored me a single damn knockout. Screw it, does anyone want him cause Pender's on the trading block for a good HW. Also, what the hell is wrong with Andrew Lewis the man has a great year last season and now he's lose three in a row and got TKO in 1 by a guy with a HP of 1.
Bah, everyone above LW fought like complete garbage and they need to get their crap together or I'll find a way to cut the whole lot of them. Well at least the lower weight cats pull my bum out of the fire and won that match for me. If we don't start fighting better I'm not going to even sniff the playoffs much less win anything.
