Bears Unstable vs. Bonner Springs Bald Beavers - Round 2

September 12, 2006: 3rd & Main Street, Scammon, KS

The temperatures on the streets in Scammon were a cool 64 degrees tonight. Bears Unstable had the impossible task of winning, facing the defending UTBA team champs. The Bald Beavers showed no mercy as they cruised to victory tonight breaking three UTBA Team records. They set a new record for team wins in a single match with (23) breaking the old record of 22 set last season by Iceteaboxing. They also set the standard for team points (62) and team KOs (16) in a match breaking the old record just set three hours ago by Tomato City. I'm just sorry that one of our expansion teams was on the receiving end of this barrage.

Scoreboard:
Bears Unstable 9-23-0 (6) = 24
Bonner Springs Bald Beavers 23-9-0 (16) = 62

Romy, I just edited the bout log for the Muckboys. I should have stated that
Jose Medel advanced to pre-prime.

Alright, cool thanks.

Jeez, I knew that the two expansion teams were going to lose this round but I never expect such large beatdowns. This round has been abit of a blowout round with Tomato City, IceTeaboxing, and Bonnar Springs just whipping their opponets easily.

I'm looking at the bright side. I'm now in the lead for the first round pick.
I wasn't expecting Cuevas to drop his matches. Becerra and Chitalada look like my most dependable guys.
I did about as well as the Unstable tonight in our opening night of darts.

There's some nice, similar shots in my OT "Images thread" if anyone's interested.

Funny how my life revolves around TBCB.
Sounds good to me.

My only experienced guy, Chartchai Chioni just had his 21st bout. Shouldn't he be pre-prime now?

The former Beaver should be able to qualify for a degree from the college of experience. In fact, I'd say he was definitely "schooled" in his last outing!

Blimey, we didn't get a win until our tenth bout! That's pretty bad.

Sorry about that bear. He's pre-prime in the database I'm using, just failed to note it here on the forums. Thanks for catching this. Chioni is now updated on the rosters page.

By the way bear, it was nice of your Unstable Bears to let the Bald Beavers set all of those new UTBA records.
