Another beat down. Not much happening for the Unstable above featherweight. Pipino is looking more like he has a pulse and Lausse beat McAvoy. Adamick finally did something.

Glad to see the Tomatoes eeking out another victory. The Barbarians once again put up a good fight but did just enough to lose. They're probably the toughest last place team in the league. Hopefully they will fare better against the East.

I'm a little disappointed that HW Chuvalo got DQ'd - he's been on a roll so far this season.

At 4-1-1 (2) MW Gomeo Brennan seems to have put last season's disaster behind him.

WW Oba Carr lost again. So much for his PfP standing.

What the hell is wrong w/ FW Terry McGovern??? 2-4-0 (1) so far. Biggest disappointment on the team.

BW Lupe Pintor 5-1-0 (2) seems to be the best addition to the team. He definately shores up one of weaker divisons on the team.

As for the division, congrats to the Muckboys for re-taking 1st place. I think the division will be a shootout until the end. I guess we'll see how each does against the East.

Thanks, it feels good to finally get into first place. I have to agree that it'll be a tight race all the way though to the end. Can someone please explain to me how in the hell did the Brazilians get blown out by the Kangroos and then turn around and give the both of us close fights, no offense to the Kangroos who do got a tough team but you know it doesn't make alot of sense.

I think the West divison are going to do damn good against the East and win the series by a couple of matches. I just feel sorry for the poor bastard who has to face Bonnar Springs next cause you know that they'll be wanting to pound someone to earse the feeling of their loss.

Since the Bald Beavers are no longer invincible, I'm looking forward to seeing them again. Tomato City may not win, but I'm hoping to fare better than the Muckboys who got blown out last season.

Season 1:

Bald Beavers - 46 Brazilian Barbarians - 36 (+10)
Bald Beavers - 56 Muckboys - 30 (+26)
Bald Beavers - 42 Boxing Kangaroos - 35 (+7)
Bald Beavers - 42 Tomato City - 37 (+5)

Man, I got smashed in that fight. I've been looking foward to another shot at the Beavers since that was the only time we got blown out and we want some revenge. I just think that we'll see the Beavers put on a great preformance next week against their opponent. Good luck to whoever it is, I'm going to be rooting for all the guys in our division for the next four rounds.

Talking

When guys start determining bragging rights with each other over which one of their teams your team beat by the least amount, you know you've arrived.

The Bald Beavers were never invincible, they just played the part convincingly for a while. A little luck sprinkled here and there can make a big difference. Okay, maybe not to the tune of 26 POINTS, but you get my drift...

The Bald Beavers were the closest thing to invincible the UTBA had seen and probably will see for awhile. 10 team match wins in a row is going to be hard to top.

Another thing, this time it's going to be alot closer then 26 points ya'll caught the Muckboys at our worse since then we've regroup and run off a 8-0-1 record if I'm not mistaken. We're going to get ya'll this time.

Finally, Thanks umk for getting those bout logs up. Those are usefully in getting a better feel for our fighters.

I know but this league needs abit more trash talking to spice things up. So I'm going to do my part on that front. I'm looking forward to the match as well as it should give me the best indicator on my chances of winning the championship this year.

Well, at least Zapata continues to roll along quite nicely. He's 4-1-1, which makes me happy.
