You all have heard of the play station or Wheaties box jinx, we have a new one here in the UTBA called the Mike Hanson jinx. Within 12 hours of Mike making the statement above, 2 of the 3 original champs lost their titles. The only reason Walker didn't is because he had already defended his title before this statement was made.
Way to go Mike. LOL

Don't forget Chris making all these big trade plans for Taylor and then scoring 49 points. Once again Man makes plans: God laughs!

Crap Arguello still has to fight and he was mentioned!

Damn, Cleveland TKOing Jackson must be close to the biggest upset in the history of the UTBA. Truly a Tyson-Douglas moment, and the fight that followed was, fittingly, a Holyfield-Douglas moment...

Chris, I would love to have fellow Arkansan Taylor, but not sure what would work numerically. Will have a couple of picks. Make a suggestion if you're interested or have an idea ...

Damn, how is he going to get the title back from Hide? How many defenses did Jackson have? I doubt if Hide keeps it long. Can Hide leave the UTBA and become the WBA Champ?

I think we should raise the cap ten points and create the cruiserweight division.

Cleveland may have scored enough PP with that win to get himself into the end of the year tourney also.

That's pretty good. I would bet that he becomes a two-time champion before long.

Well if this keeps up Walker's and Arguello's streaks are going to come to an end soon.

Thats it this round is offically bizarro round. This is easily the craziest round in UTBA history.

I get get home reeking of woodsmoke and black powder from our last re-enectment of our season and after crashing out get up and find all sorts of oddnesses occuring here. The Unstable broke the 30 point barrier against the Beavers, of all teams.

Jackson lost, and a lot of upsets.
