Finally made a move Chris .. but sticking with my overall philosphy of letting my guys age .. I have no first or second round pick in this years draft, so my team for next year is what you see now.

Undisputed Champions vs Iceteaboxing - Round 9

October 18, 2006: Turning Stone Casino, Verona, NY

Iceteaboxing dominates once again. One surprise today was when Tom Heeney of Undisputed Champions defeated Herbie Hide to take the HW crown, I thought for sure that Peter Jackson would regain the title that he lost last round when he fought Henney. That didn't happen and Heeney looks like a man on a mission.

Scoreboard:
Undisputed Champions 12-19-1 (6) = 31
Iceteaboxing 19-12-1 (8) = 47

Sorry about that Chris. After Ice just finished dispatching the Champions, I see now that if you run the table on the Assassins and go 32-0-0 (32) to score a perfect 96..............you'll only be 6 points behind the leader.

I've said it once and I'll say it again the North Division is the ACC in the 90s, it's Iceteaboxing and the three dwarfs. The only question now is how long will it take for Iceteaboxing to actually lose to one of the dwarfs.

I'm glad to see that the last of the former Muckboys I had cut have found new homes, Tommy Morrison should fit in perfectly with the whole get a KO or get KOed style HW style the Mexivilles use.

I'd say Iceteaboxing is more like the Huskers. They won more games than any other team from 1971 to 1999.

The Huskers are good but I think FSU works better for Iceteaboxing. You have the domination over a mostly helpless division (ACC, The North), a rival from a different division who seemly has their number (Miami, Mexivillies) hell they both start with M to. Another talented team that they seem to beat repeatly (Florida, Crusaders) and if in like 6 seasons if the Crusaders have failed to win at IceTea's home then they'll really be the Gators.

Thank you, that goes to show you the power of having nothing to do and being completely bored out of your mind really lets you focus on something like that just to do something.

1 3/4 year is a long way from being a complete decade of dominance. Actually, this is the first year of the 4 division format, so the comparisons might be a bit premature. Not to take anything away from ice tea, he has done a great job. I just have a hard time believe there will be any real dominance in a league where everyone has the same cap that directly reflects performance, but I guess we'll see. Don't worry, I'll be there, revamping the boxers I am looking for, powder puff punchers wont get it done.

See I was alright with the lack of KO's for Taylor, because I get KO's elsewhere .. I needed wins.

Oh, I agree Icetea is still a ways away from equaling FSU's run heck I was going to throw in Icetea's inability to win the Championship as a comparsion to Bobby who people thought couldn't win the big one either but decided not to due to the fact that there's only been one championship match. However, it was just for fun and at this moment in comparison it kind of stands up. Also, SAL's a great GM my Muckboy team expect for a few guys I've added was built by SAL so if you can get him for that Part-Time GM position I see good times for the Undisputed Champions in the future.

Mike, aside from that horrible brawl with FIU which I'm not defending in any way Miami has been pretty clean over the last decade. Really whats the worse thing their players have done. Anyway, I'm comparing you to the Ken Dorsey/Dan Morgan Miami teams which were really classy pretty much.

Everytime, King Tut wins a match I want to strangle a kitten lord knows how I was able to blow that draft pick that badly.

Juggernaut had the MexiVilles down 41 to 37 with two bouts left in the match. Win one of them and they go home with the win. Lucky for the MexiVilles that they had their LW champ in those two bouts. Arguello went 2-0 with two KOs for 6 points which gave the MexiVilles the victory.

man, another loss... looks like I have secured my spot in the top 5 picks for the upcoming draft now lol...

Also, the bout logs for round 8 have been uploaded to the site. I'll post the others when I have time

*EDIT*
Well, I had some free time this afternoon, and I made a small program to help me speed up the renaming of the bout logs to the name of the competing boxers. I just finished it and it seems to be working properly (although the interface is REALLY ugly ).

Okay off to the point, this will allow me to rename all bout logs in less than a minute, which means I can put them up faster now. I'll start uploading the missing rounds tommorow since I'm getting ready to go home now
