Still think Gunsmokes team name should be "The Dennis Weaver's" or something to do with Festus

Thanks, SAL. I've assigned each team a divisional ranking from 1 to 5 based on where they finished this season which I'll use to make the schedule for season three. With the intra-conference matchups, it will be west teams hosting north teams and south teams hosting east teams, with the teams with the same divisional ranking playing each other, eg. 1v1 2v2, etc.

So if we follow that setup next season I'll be hosting Iceteaboxing. Cool, if he manages to get by the Crusaders then we'll be having a rematch of the finals fun times.

Correctamundo, Romy. That matchup should happen in week six of season three.

Thanks for taking on the scheduling duties KC. Much appreciated on my part. The schedule you've worked up sounds like a good plan to me.

No problem, SAL. I'm happy to help take some of the load off you.

I've enjoyed compiling the schedules in my HBF and NFL universes, and also went through the extended task of making and manually entering one for my MLB OOTP dynasty. Making the one for UTBA was extra fun because it involves a league we are all taking part in.

Cap Points.
I just posted the current cap point total for all teams below the last round in the drafting order on the second post in the Utba Draft thread.
Of the 15 teams that will be participating in the draft........8 teams are below the 105 cap going into the draft.

I've got a feeling that one of Bear's fighters will take the prize.

Season 2: Rookie Of The Year (Gold Conference)

Candidate #2:

Bantamweight - Lupe Pintor (Tomato City)
Season 2 Record: 16-4-0 (8)

As Tomato City's #1 Draft Choice, Lupe Pintor did not disappoint. Although he bookended his rookie season with a loss in his 1st and 20th fights, he managed to put together a solid season which included a 13 fight winning streak. Pintor seemed to step up against better competition while suffering 3 of his 4 losses against significantly lower opponents and has only been stopped once.

Lupe Pintor heads into the EOY Tournament as the #6 seed.
Highlights:
  • Scored 40 Points (2nd highest Point Total on Team)
  • Opponents Average Rating: 6.55
  • Notable wins: W-M12/W-U12 Jose Medel (rated 9), W-U12/W-TKO6 Gilberto Roman (rated 9), W-TKO6 Jose Becerra (rated 9)
  • Losses: L-U12 Elley Bennett (rated 8), L-U12 Lionel Rose (rated 6), L-U12/L-TKO12 Pete Frissina (rated 5)

Season 2 Record: 14-5-1 (4) *1DQ*

Sot Chitalada is the second of Bear's Unstable entrants and is the only candidate to fight, not once, but twice for a Championship. Although unsuccessfull in both attempts, Sot did manage to pile up the wins for the expansion Bear's. Also, Chitalada is the only candidate to have lost a bout by DQ.

Sot Chitalada heads into the EOY Tournament as the #7 seed.
Highlights:
  • Scored 32 Points (3rd highest Point Total on Team)
  • 0-2 in Championship Title Bouts
