Amendment to the UTBA Playoff rules
The current rule for the playoffs, the division winners get seeds 1,2,3 and the wildcard is seeded 4 regardless of points total. Home venue goes to the division winner with the most points. Wildcard entry will not have any home venue advantage throughout the playoffs.
The championship match is held at a neutral site with no home venue advantage for either team. #1 faces #4 (wildcard) #2 faces #3 Proposal....... Amendment to the current playoff system. The only exception would be if #1 seed and the wildcard are from the same division. The wildcard should never face its divison leader in the first round of the playoffs. If this happens, seeding for the playoffs would be as follows..... #1 faces #3 #2 faces #4 (wildcard)
