An intentional head-butt opens a cut over the left eye of the Kid as Chocolate has his way in the 7th, 15-3. Quintana's eye is almost closed completely as we enter the 12th. Chocolate goes to work and keep peppering Quintana with his left jab. The ref stops the fight on the advice of the doctor.

Pavlik starts well with a body and head combo but runs into a counter combo that puts him flat on his back here in the 1st. Pavlik tries to get to his feet but stumbles back to the ground. Ruzanov wins in stunning fashion.

Strickland hurts Tua early in the 1st round, 15-0, but Tua recovers and takes out his anger on Strickland for the rest of the round, 21-0. 9-5, 2nd round in favor of the challenger. This is shaping up to be a wonderful fight. 15-14, Strickland in the 3rd. 15-13, Strickland in the 4th. Strickland is doing a good job of moving in and out avoiding Tua's power. Tua starts out the 6th, 15-0, but Strickland lands a counter right hook after avoiding a combo from Tua. The hook puts the champ down here in the 6th. Tua is up at 8, Strickland doesnt have enough time to follow up. Tua recovers and has a 9-6, 7th, even though his left eye is beginning to swell. A Strickland hook puts Tua down again in the 9th. Tua is up at the count of 9, but has over two minutes to try to survive. And Tua does survive, although Strickland dominates the round, 26-4, and is clearly winning this title fight. Another hook finds the mark in the 10th and Tua is down for the third time. Strickland continues to press the action in the 11th. All the challenger has to do is avoid one of Tua's knockout punches to win this fight. Tua is down for the 4th time in the 12th round. Tua is down again in the 13th. And again...how does he keep getting back up. Tua is down three more times, for a total of 9, before the fight is finally stopped. Tua finishes on his feet after hitting the canvas nine times but the ref finally stops the fight!

Neusel is having his way with the exception of the knock down and point deduction. A short, clean combo puts the champion down for a count of 7, in round 6. Another foul by Neusel that the referee is ruling as blatant and Hoffman wins the fight by DQ!

This should be a very competitive fight as both men enter the ring in excellent shape. The first round is close, 8-7, in favor of Fuente. 14-0, Valdez in the 2nd. It looks as though both fighters are willing to mix it up on the inside as Fuente dominates the 3rd, 20-6. Valdez traps Fuente in his own corner and works on the inside, 16-4, in the 4th. Fuente has suffered a cut over the right eye and has swelling around the same eye. Valdez has swelling around his right eye. Valdez, 14-7, in the 6th. Valdez is working the cut over Fuente's right eye with his left jab. Valdez continues to shoot home straight lefts and wins the 8th, 15-6. A beautiful cross puts Fuente down at the end of the 9th. Fuente's cut looks worse and the blood is flowing into his eye as we start the 10th. Valdez continues to pepper shots at that cut and the ref stops the fight on the advice of the ringside doctor.
