Good to hear from you Javier. Actually, you missed a lot, especially in Mexico, where Villebillie Boxing Gym and Chris Arreola just won the Mexican (MBF)title by defeating Saul Montana. It was one heck of a fight. Hope you still want to manage JCC here in this uni? You can pick up another fighter if you want? Let me know if you have any other favorite fighters that you want to manage, especially if you want one from Mexico (remember that he doesnt need to be a HW, I can adjust somebody. Somebody has just recently signed Cotto and Napoles to contracts and are just waiting for them to turn pro. I have created a lot of files for your country and have 63 HW's right now.

I need Aztec Promotions to pick the next opponent for JCC and let me know if he wants to fight in April or May.

Here is the list

Francisco Beltran, Mexico, pro debut
Ron Guerrero, Mexico, 6-9-0 (5)
Lupe Guerra, Mexico, 2-5-0 (1)
Abraham Meneses, Mexico, 3-5-0 (2)
Santiago Quintal, Mexico, 0-1-0
Herminio Ramirez, Mexico, 0-1-0
Ricardo Rosel, Mexico, 8-9-0 (3)
Hector Ruben Zamaro, 3-6-0 (2)
Mauricio Villegas, Mexico, 4-6-1 (3)
Juan Olivera, Mexico, pro debut
Ladislao Mijangos, Mexico, 4-8-0 (4)
Hilario Guzman, Domincan Republic, pro debut
Daniel Falconi, Argentina, 4-6-2 (10)
Sebastian Ignacio Ceballos, Argentina, pro debut
Gilton Dos Santos, Brazil, 5-5-0 (5)
Moises Droz, Puerto Rico, pro debut
Adolfo Morell, Panama, pro debut

this is an old list, so some fighters may have a slightly different record.

Chavez returns with a bang...

Francisco Beltran, Mexico, 0-2-0 vs Julio Cesar Chavez, Mexico, 1-1-0 (1)

Chavez looks real good after his brief hiatus and thoroughly controls the first two rounds. Beltran is absorbing blows without responding. Chavez scores two knockdowns in the 3rd round. Chavez puts Beltran down again in the 4th. Beltran is able to continue, but referee Weeks stops the fight at the 2:08 mark of the 4th round after Beltran is unable to protect himself.

Winner: Chavez
Result: (TKO4)
Cards: 29-26, 30-25, 30-25, all three cards in favor of Chavez
Punch stats: 100% - 45.4% Chavez

*Beltran was an amazing 18-18 in punches! Too bad he only throws 4 punches per round!

Cotto signs with Villebillie Boxing Gym...

Puerto Rico celebrates this month as Miguel Cotto, Edwin Rosario and Felix Trinidad make their highly anticipated, professional boxing debuts. Villebillie entered negotiations with Cotto after traveling down to Guaynabo to watch his amateur fights. They were very impressed with his last amateur fight against American, Zab Judah. Cotto displayed a decent chin by absorbing Judah's early shots and continued to bull his way inside. Cotto has a vicious left hook that he likes to deliver to the body and has a large fan base because of his ability to finish fights with his punching power. Villebillie and Cotto are looking over their potential list of candidates for Cotto's pro debut in Puerto Rico.

Astor Agosto, PR, 0-3-0
Juan Casanova, PR, pro debut
Jose Felipe Colon, PR, 0-1-0
Jaime DeLavega, PR, pro debut
Moises Droz, PR, 1-2-0
Amos Lisboa-Casillas, PR, pro debut
Hector Mercedes, PR, pro debut
Miguel Otero, PR, 0-1-0
Joseph Kenneth Reyes, PR, 1-2-0
Ricardo Richardson, PR, 0-1-0
Edgardo Santos, PR, 0-2-0
Carlos Soto, PR, 0-2-0

A non-title setback...

Chris Arreola, Mexico, 13-5-1 (8) vs. Kid Cardenas, Cuba, 11-6-0 (8)

Arreola comes into this non-title fight, fresh off his victory over Saul Montana for the initial, vacant Mexican Boxing Federation’s Heavyweight Title. Arreola is stalking his prey from the opening bell and lands a hook that wobbles Cardenas. Cardenas responds with some counter punches in this action-packed 1st round, 20-13 Arreola. 2nd round has the same, electric pace as this looks more like a welterweight than a heavyweight fight, 16-16. The Cuban fighter has a nice 3rd round, 16-6. Arreola leads and counters his way to a very nice 4th, 16-5. Cardenas dominates the 5th, 18-2. Arreola receives his 2nd warning for fouls in the 6th. He was warned for low blows in the 5th and holding behind the neck in the 6th. Cardenas lands a strong cross to start the 7th and opens a gash on the right eyebrow. Arreola is definitely pawing at the gash, the ref stops the timer and the doctor comes to ringside to take a look. Referee Weeks is halting this fight at the 2:30 mark of the 7th due to the severity of Arreola’s cut. Cardenas pulls off the upset here in Mexico much to the displeasure of the crowd.

Winner: Cardenas
Result: (TKO7)(Cuts)
Cards: 58-56, 58-56, 58-57, all in favor of Cardenas
Punch stats: 58.3% - 37% Cardenas
