Cotto literally escapes with a win...

Miguel Cotto, Puerto Rico, 4-0-0 (4) vs Julius Richardson, Puerto Rico, 3-0-0 (2)

Cancha Pepin Cestero, Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Word is that Richardson and Cotto exchanged words before the fight while walking to the locker rooms. We have gathered some information that tells us that Richardson is a little upset at the attention Cotto is receiving and he believes that he deserves the same since he is also undefeated. Cotto didnt respond to the taunting and walked away, but Richardson pushed Cotto's head as he had his backed turned. Security was able to step in between the two camps but word has it that Cotto promised a knockout early in the fight. Cotto attacks from the opening bell and wins the 1st, 23-4. 18-0, in the 2nd for Cotto, as he opens a cut above the left eye of Richardson. Cotto easily takes the 3rd and lands some punches that opens up another cut above the right eye. The doctor looks and Richardson and the ref stops the fight. Richardson and his handlers rush into the ring and security has to try to calm things down as Cotto is excorted back to the lockers.

Winner: Cotto
Result: (TKO4)(Cuts)
Cards: 30-27, on all three cards in favor of Cotto
Punch stats: 41-41, 100% Richardson - 171-264, 64.8% Cotto

Juggernaut is interested in Winslow for sure if thats possible, but Chambers would be fine too. 1 or the other, just 1 fictional.

Since you have said it might be tough to get minor title shots for U.S. boxers, I was wondering how Joe Bugner was doing?

Winslow it is. He is rated higher than Chambers, and IMO would have a much better chance at reaching the top. Good scouting.

Joe Bugner is doing pretty well, 16-2-0 (13). Losses came to David Haye (KO7), 1951-01-30, and Cleveland Williams (UD15) in the UK/USA challenge 1953-10-30. His percentage point ranking isnt very high though compared to his record. Let me know.

Yeah, I noticed that too and I was going to go back and check that...was it with Cotto the last time? If so, I am wondering if it is a bug?

Juggernaut will go ahead and sign MR. Bugner to a temporary contract with the intent to sign him full time if his performance is satisfactory.

Eastern U.S. Based Promotional Team inks two prominent fighters...

Juggernaut Promotions, based out of Boston, MA, United States, has introduced themselves to the boxing community by signing a blue-chip prospect and a highly decorated european heavyweight. Juggernaut Promotions has signed Donald "Doomsday" Winslow from the United States and Joe Bugner from the United Kingdom. Winslow is a 6'5", hard-hitting slugger from Los Angeles, CA, USA. Bugner is an established ring fighter with a record of 16-2-0 (13). It will be interesting to see how Juggernaut and Bugner will fare against the U.K. Boxing Group and their two established U.K. fighters, Calzaghe and Honeyghan. And I wonder what happened with their backyard fighter, Marvin Hagler, since he decided to sign with Northern Lights Promotions? We will have to see if there will be any bad blood between the two management companies.

August sounds good. The sooner, the better. Hagler is eager to get his pro-career started.

"Doomsday" will fight as much and as early as possible so an August fight vs. Melvin Lumzy should do the trick.

Tommy,

You have to remember, if there is a HW file for a fighter, he is probably in the uni fighting already. Just let me know who you are interested in. Attila is from Sweden, so I guess he would be of interest to you. He was 13-1-1 (9), but lost his last two fights to bad competition, Ken Shaw, Scotland (a "1" rated fighter)(TKO11) on 1954-05-26 and to Christophe Girard, France (TKO10) on 1953-12-15. Notable wins against Kevin McBride (KO3), Taoufik Belbouli (TKO2), Karl Mildenberger (TechDec7), William Iron Hague (KO1). Only other loss to Lennox Lewis (KO11). Ranked #402 in world right now even after those bad losses. Let me know if you want to sign him so I can take him off Bugner's list.

Here is a question for you just in case you do have an interest in signing a Swedish fighter...I have 39 files for Sweden, which means I only need to create 11 more to have a local title. What is the boxing organization called over there and its initials in case I do start it up for your country?
