Ho Hum...WBO Championship
The question is: can anybody defeat one of the 4 dominant world title holders? One more title on the line this month, one more shot.
WBO Title Fight Champion Joe Louis, USA, 17-1-0 (16) vs. #17 “Smokin” Joe Frazier, USA, 18-3-0 (18) Louis is coming off a successful title defense just last month against Max Schmeling. “The Brown Bomber” is making his 5th title defense with previous wins over Apollo Creed (KO8), Sam Langford (TKO8), Peter Jackson (TKO10) and Max Schmeling (TKO5). This will be Frazier’s 4th title shot of some sort, losing his previous three to Tunney, Langford and “No Doubt” Norton. “Smokin” Joe needs to show up and perform better under the bright lights. The champ already looks better than he did in his last fight. The long layoff before Louis’ last defense made him look slow and out of sync. He has started with a fury in the 1st, 22-7. Both fighters are heavy-handed sluggers, and both have come to fight today. Not a lot of movement here as both men are leaning on each other and fighting on the inside. The referee warns both fighters to watch their heads. Frazier and Louis split rounds three and four. Frazier was hurt by a straight left in the 5th, but Louis didn’t have enough time to follow up. Round six is definitely Louis’s round. Frazier looks wobbly, like he hasn’t quite recovered from the last round. Louis outscores Frazier, 20-2. Another commanding round for the champ, 31-3, but the referee deducts a point from Louis for a low blow. That should make the 7th a 9-9 on the judges score cards. Frazier looks exhausted here in the 8th but he summons up the strength to land some real nice punches. This looks like another fading performance, a common occurance that has been evident in Frazier’s three losses (all in title fights). Maybe I was wrong…Frazier is “Smokin” as he lands a three punch combo followed by a hook, jab and straight left. Louis is hurt. Frazier takes the 9th, scoring 26-9. Louis responds here in the 10th by scoring 20-0 in the 1st minute of the round and sends Frazier down with a hook to the body. Frazier is down for the second time and cannot get up. Joe Louis makes his 5th successful title defense and retains his WBO Title with a (KO10) at the 1:52 mark. Cards at stoppage: 86-84, 87-84, 89-82 all in favor of Louis. We will have to see if Frazier ever gets another chance at a title. |

Domination...
We may be in an era of the dominant world heavyweight champion. Four major champions, 19-19 in title defenses.
IBF Champion: Rocky Marciano, 2 title defenses WBA Champion: Chuck "No Doubt" Norton, 5 title defenses WBC Champion: "Iron" Mike Tyson, 7 title defenses WBO Champion: Joe Louis, 5 title defenses It is not like each champion is ducking his opposition either. The list of opponents reads like a list of who's who in the heavyweight division: James Jeffries Mustafa "Killer" Couzee Sam Langford Vitali Klitschko Ivan Drago Teofilo Stevenson Harry Wills Peter Jackson Riddick Bowe Evander Holyfield Max Schmeling Gene Tunney Joe Frazier Apollo Creed Hopefully, boxing fans will get their wish for a unification bout of some sort in the near future. Rampage's next fight...
We are finishing the month of November 1953, with the "Italian Rock n Roll" fight card and the last championship fight between Rocky and Rocky. As soon as that is finished we move into December. Muckboys Promotions has to decide if they want the fight in December or January?

We'll take December and after Rampage crushes Eastman in the first round we'll probably be looking for a fight in January. Here at Muckboy Promotions we firmly believe in getting our prospects as many fights as possible and as quickly as possible. Plus, if Rampage ain't fighting ain't earning that Chedda and Rampage wants that Chedda.

From the Eastman camp...
Eastman replies, "I know that Rampage likes chedda because I always see him in that government line at the beginning of the month. That's why his wife is divorcing him, because he spends all his money on his fake grillz and fake chains. He is going to need to replace his aluminum grillz with dentures after I knock him and his teeth out! First round is right, my KO'ing him silly in the 1st round."

Billy Goat Promotions In the House
Chicago, Il - Billy Goat Promotions is proud to announce the signing of Union Cane. Union Cane will start off what will surely be an illustious long career by fight Hubert Hood. Cane promises that once he is done with Hubert he will going back to fighting the Boyz in the Hood.
In other news George Stankovich has accepted a bout with Sam N'Gata. This should be a bit of a step up in class for George who feels he needs a challenger more worthy than his previous two matches. |

Thanks to the fellow promoters...
B-town Boxing Promotions is glad to be working with the other management/promotional teams. We feel that this will only make our sport better by working together in such a cooperative and speedy fashion. These promoters will help weed out the corruption and greed that has plagued our sport in the past due to such linchpins as Don King and Bob Arum along with some of the corrupt alphabet presidents that have accepted money to rank undeserving fighters for monetary gains. Our sport needs a steam cleaning and our fans deserve great bouts arranged by merit. We also want promoters and boxers that are actively pursuing bouts and not sitting on the sidelines protecting their belts and their records. Thank you and good luck to you and your fighters.

update
the Rocky - Rocky fight and card will be done tonight and the December rankings should be posted. Hopefully, we will be able to get into some December fights later this evening, no promises though...I am also working on some created fighter files for boxers from certain countries right now. I need some more real HW's so that I can introduce more fighters into the uni. Working on CABO and EBU, specifically Mexico, Jamaica and Russia. Thanks for your continued interest, participation and patience.

IBF Championship
IBF Title Fight
"Italian Rock n Roll" Fight Card Main Event: IBF Champion Rocky Marciano, USA, 20-2-0 (19) vs "The Italian Stallion" Rocky Balboa, USA, 10-1-0 (10) Both fighters have trained hard for this fight. Marciano is making his 3rd title defense of his IBF Title. Oh my God, just :57 seconds into the fight and Balboa is down from a punch that is part uppercut, part hook. Balboa manages to get up but will have a long time to try to survive this 1st round. Marciano is blistering his opponent and Balboa is down again. Balboa is allowed to continue, but Marciano is trying to finish the fight right here. There it is, the referee steps in and the fight is stopped here at the 2:57 mark of the 1st. Winner and still IBF Champion, The Brockton Blockbuster, Rocky Marciano (TKO1). Great fight for Marciano, bad results for Marciano’s handlers and the promoters. The NAACP’s claim that Balboa did not deserve this fight seems to be justified and you can bet that we will be hearing some protests. |

Another crazy month!
We are truly blessed to be in a generation where fighters want to be active and are willing to put it all on the line. November brought us 4-world title fights and each champion will step into the ring again. Not only that, four other major belts will be up for grabs: CABO, EBU, ICBA, USBA. (That random generator is a boxing fan!)

WBA Championship
Champion Chuck "No Doubt" Norton, USA, 24-0-0 (23) vs #9 Harry Wills, USA, 13-1-0 (12)
Norton gives Wills an immediate rematch from last month's controversial championship fight. Many people believe that the referee had no reason to step in and stop the fight prematurely, that Wills was ahead on the judge's scorecards and that Norton wouldve lost the fight. |
