Highlight of the cricket season - makes up a little for losing to the Indians.

Just looking at the QLD cricket website and they've got Symonds listed at 187cm and 94kg (about 6'1, 210 lbs) and it's all muscle. As far as cricketers go the streaker couldn't have picked many worse to run into.

I am working about 12 hours a day including weekends (I am a CPA), Our van died again this week and we need to buy a new one (borrowing one at the moment), and to top it off my basement is flooding at the moment.

So, I need to go get some more work done and bail water or both.

The point? I just wanted to stop in here among freinds and say...

Anyways, it would have to rain for another 39 days and 39 nights before I would beleive that the "almighty" has deceided to leave Scot (SAL) alone and shifted his attention to your quiet corner of Connecticut.

Hey, all. Just in case anyone noticed my absence the last couple of days, I haven't had any internet access at home since Sunday as I've changed to a new provider and they haven't delivered the new modem to me yet. Also I didn't go to work yesterday as I stuffed up the right side of my lower back on Sunday morning when I was cleaning the computer.

I'm back at work today but my back is still killing me. I'm either going to have to see a physiotherapist or treat it myself. I'm going to fill up a hot water bottle tonight, wrap it in a towel and place it under my back.

The pain is not so bad when I'm sitting down but when I stand up it's like a fire shooting through my back. I can barely walk for the first couple of minutes after standing up. Oh, well. Things could be much worse.

Rugby League in Australia is celebrating its centenary this year, with the new season to kick off on Friday night oz time.

The son of a guy I work with got recruited to go over and walk on for a rugby team in Australia. His name is Adam Turner. I hear he is doing pretty well over there.
