At lunch on day three India are struggling at 4/133. Mitchell Johnson has taken three wickets for Australia.

Sorry I couldn't update yesterday. Here is how the 1st test stands at the end of day four.

India made an impressive fight back late on day three as Khan and Singh took them from 7/232 to 312 before Singh was dismissed.

Australia are 5/193 in their 2nd innings at the end of play on day four. Katich scored 34, Hussey 31 and Ponting 17. Watson (32) and Haddin (28) are still in and did a good job of guiding the Aussies to the end of the day.
Two of Australia's top batters failed in both innings with opener Matthew Hayden scoring 0 and 13 and vice-captain Michael Clarke only 11 and 6.

So with one day to play Australia leads by 263 runs. The plan would be for them to bat for the first hour or so and get that lead up past 300 and then try to bowl India out in about 75 overs. It looks like being an exciting finish.

Australia have declared in their 2nd innings, setting India a winning target of 299 from 83 overs.

India have just lost their first wicket in their 2nd innings, Sehwag out for 6. They are 1/16 in the 5th over.
