Darts....a man after my own heart. quote] I've been involved in league play here since 1973. Only play one night a week these days and never practice anymore. Its now my guys night out with team mates I've played with for eons. Back in my "pro" days I used to practice or play five hours a day faithfully. Had a few moments in the sun in those days. A couple of years ago "Bull's Eye News" printed an article about the early days of darts in Chicago and I was identified as one of the big name players of that era. My team captain and longtime friend, Jim Askham, was a 2005 inductee in the National Darts Hall of Fame. Bear

The maddeningly inconsistent season of my Wests Tigers continued on the weekend as they fell 30-14 to the Gold Coast Titans, who brought a six game losing streak into the clash. The Tigers only trailed 14-6 five minutes before half time but the Titans ran in two tries in the space of three minutes to take a 24-6 lead into the break. The Tigers defended bravely during the second half and trailed 24-14 before the Gold Coast crossed the try line in the final minute to conclude the game.
The Titans have two players on their roster who were a big part of the Tigers' Championship run in '05 but left the team after the '06 season, halfback (and former Tigers captain) Scott Prince and hard running forward Anthony Lafrancchi. The two of them have played brilliantly in the two matchups between the teams this year, both won by the Titans. With four weeks to go before the playoffs, the Tigers are once again clinging to 8th spot in the standings. http://www.nrl.com.au/Season2007/Sea...3/Default.aspx Last edited by kenyan_cheena : 08-06-2007 at 09:09 PM. |

Time to stuff the ballot box again fellow basement dwellers! Defeat the evil baseball geeks! Remember people, issues matter not a wit, it's the tie that counts! (Today, I wore a stone-colored number with tiny golden claymores)

I just got back from the emergency room . . . unexplained pain and swelling in my foot, doc seems to think it's gout
Not good. I got prescribed three days of bed. I can't really walk, but I do have some meds. Looks like three days of TBCB!

Thanks, me too.
Got some unusual medicine. Two pills every hour for seven hours. Basically Doc said one of three things will happen and two of them are bad. I was going to tell him that's what they say about quarterbacks, but I didn't know the guy. Possibilities 1 and 2 are the body rejects it (I'm sure you guys can figure the particulars) and 3 is that it works. I'm psyching myself up to start soon . . I think

Thanks, man.
So I looked up this Colchicine stuff I'm taking on wiki (I know WebMD is probably more reliable, but ballpark is ok for me on this) First sentence: Colchicine is a highly poisonous alkaloid, Great!! Just Great!! Hopefully the Oxycodone lets me go out happy!

What's with the cartoon? Are they oddly-rendered Simpson characters? If so, where's Lisa?
