Fonomanu Sekona 11-1-0 (9) v Charlie 'Devil' Green 17-12-1 (4), 8 rounds
What was supposed to be only a stepup for Sekona, turned the wrong way when Green landed a wicked hook in the 3rd round that send Sekona down for the full count! Charlie Green improves to 18-12-1 (5) with a KO 3 as Fonomanu Sekona moves to 11-2-0 (9) Ron Lyle 15-0-0 (14) v Roy 'Tiger' Williams 29-13-0 (16), 8 rounds What was supposed to be a stiff test, turned into a brutal beating until the ref stopped it with three seconds to go og the first! Ron Lyle improves to 16-0-0 (15) with a TKO 1 victory as Williams loses his 4th in a row. Jeff 'Candy Slim' Merritt 24-6-0 (19) v Pedro Lovell 16-4-0 (13), 10 rounds Lovell won the first clearly. The second was too close to call. Both fighters were down in a fantastic 3rd round. Lovell send Merritt down twice in the 4th, and the second time for the full count! Pedro Lovell won a small upset KO 4 as he improves to 17-4-0 (14) Joe Bugner 24-6-0 (16) v Dante Cane 32-8-0 (26), 12 rounds for the EBU title. Bugner makes the 3rd defence since defeating Gene Innocent by split decision to win the EBU title. Cane should prove a good challenger although Bugner is the favourite. It all depends on what Bugner shows up. The one who lost to Jack O'Halloran, Jose Luis Garcia and Jose Roman or the one who KO'ed Pedro Agosto, Richard Dunn, Tony Ventura, Roger Russell and Peter Weiland (x2) Bugner wins the 1st and 2nd round before sending Cane down in the 3rd in an otherwise close round. Bugner gives Cane a boxing lesson in the 4th and 5th. The 6th and 7th is just a brutal beating but Cane somehows remains standing. Cane is clearly tired as he almost stops punching in the 8th and he is even send down from a perfect cross. Cane is counted out! Joe Bugner improves to 25-6-0 (17) with a impressive KO 8. If he just fought like this every time, he'd be a world class fighter! Al 'Blue' Lewis 29-2-2 (17) v Ron 'The Butcher' Stander 18-4-2 (7), 10 rounds Al Lewis is the huge favourite as he looks to reboud from his UD 15 loss to Ken Norton, which was a very good fight. 1st round: Stander just walks forward and catches Lewis with straight punches. 10/9 Stander 2nd round: Stander lands a sweet uppercut and a crushing cross! Lewis recovers and looks good with his jab. 20/18 Stander 3rd round: Lewis starts countering and Stander seems confused at the moment. 29/28 Stander 4th round: Stander doesn't seem too motivated to throw punches as he makes it too easy for Lewis. 38/38 5th round: Lewis continually gets there first with his punches as Stander could be tiring out, he almost goes to the canvas at the bell. 48/47 Lewis 6th round: Lewis does a good job, extremely accurate and makes Stander miss. 58/56 Lewis 7th round: Stander is hurt early as Lewis lands punch after punch. Lewis wins a huge round. 68/65 Lewis 8th round: Lewis stops defending himself as he seems to go for the KO. He is caught a few times, but still pounds Stander and almost sends him down. Stander is showing great heart, but that's all he shows. 78/74 Lewis 9th round: Lewis takes it easy as he is in control, landing effectively and defending himself well. 88/83 Lewis 10th round: Lewis once again, is in control. He keeps his cool, and doesn't go into wild exchanges. Lewis lands a left right and Stander goes down. Stander gets up for the final bell. 98/91 Lewis Official scorecards: 98-91 98-91 98-91 All for the winner by unanimous decision, Al Lewis! Al Lewis did good against a fighter who is nowhere near the top crop. Al Lewis improves to 30-2-2 (17) Dave Zyglewicz 33-6-0 (24) v Muhammad Ali 43-3-0 (35), 12 rounds for the USBA title Muhammad Alis comeback project continues against a fighters whos biggest skill is his chin. He can take the shots and has better than average power. Zyglewicz holds wins against Henry Clark, Gregorio Peralta and Leotis Martin. Muhammad Alis list of wins is enormous, he has beat so many top fighters. He is coming off a TKO 8 win against Oscar Bonavena 1st round: Ali bangs punches in punches home and counters Zyglewicz with straight shots. Huge round for Ali as he outlanded Ziggy 53-7. 10/9 Ali 2nd round: Ali lands two good shots. Ziggy comes back with a left right combo. The fighters exchange blows! Ali lands a crushing uppercut! Ziggy answers with a devastating cross and drops another right flush on Alis chin! Ziggy lands two quick jabs. 19/19 3rd round: Not much happens, as Ali lands the only meaningful punches. 29/28 Ali 4th round: Ali gives Ziggy a brutal beating as he smashes his hands into the face of the texan. 39/37 Ali. 5th round: Ali lands more effectively. 49/46 Ali 6th round: Ali lands flush with a sharp combo. Not much happening until Ali lands a perfectly placed cross that sends Ziggy down! He rises quickly. Ziggy survives. 59/54 Ali 7th round: Ali smothers Ziggy with a barrage of punches to send him down again! Once again, Ziggy gets up. Another huge round for Ali. 69/62 Ali 8th round: Ziggy is the agressor in a close round. 78/72 Ali 9th round: Ali lands ONE jab to win a extremely boring round. 88/81 Ali 10th round: Ali sends Ziggy down with a body punch. Ziggy once again rises, but he looks more hurt now. Ali lands a short combo flush to send Ziggy down again. This time, he is done, as he is counted out! Muhammad Ali KO 10 Dave Zyglewicz Scorecards at the end were: 87-82, 88-82, 88-81 all for Ali. Muhammad Ali improves to 44-3-0 (36) as he wins the USBA title. Dave Zyglewicz moves to 33-7-0 (24). Final punchstats. Punches landed - Ali 279 / Ziggy 132 Punches thrown - Ali 569 / Ziggy 499 Punching accuracy - Ali 49 % / Ziggy 26,5 % Jabs landed - Ali 78 / Ziggy 21 Last edited by aaaaaaaaa : 01-27-2008 at 10:42 AM. |

Ken Norton will defend his titles against Al Lewis The WBC and IBF champion Ken Norton (28-2-0 with 24 KOs) is set to defend his titles against mandatory challenger Al Lewis (30-2-2 with 17 KOs) in October. This looks to be Nortons second defence of his title since defeating the very same Al Lewis for the titles by a UD 15. His first defence was a premature 6th round TKO win against Leotis Martin (33-11-2 with 19 KOs). Al Lewis got back into the title picture by winning a UD 10 against Ron Stander (18-5-2 with 7 KOs). Dave Zyglewicz v EBU champ Joe Bugner set for October The former USBA champ Dave Zyglewicz (33-7-0 with 24 KOs) has agreed to fight EBU champ Joe Bugner (25-6-0 with 17 KOs) who has beaten most mentionworthy opponents in europe and looks to step into the american spotlight. Dave Zyglewicz lost his USBA title last month against Muhammad Ali (44-3-0 with 36 KOs) by KO 10. Joe Bugner is coming off 3 succesful title defences against the best europe has to offer at this point. Albert Westphal has announced his retirement with a record of 45-18-3 (30) after a career of many big fights. He got his big shot in December 1963 as he was TKOed in the 8th round by the at the time extremely dominant Muhammad Ali. He holds victories against fighters such as Karl Mildenberger, Alonzo Johnson, Al Lewis and Billy Daniels. The ring rankings Ch. Joe Frazier 33-3-0 (32) 1. Ken Norton 28-2-0 (24) 2. George Foreman 25-0-0 (25) 3. Al Lewis 30-2-2 (17) 4. Al Jones 33-5-0 (8) 5. Earnie Shavers 23-1-0 (20) 6. Muhammad Ali 44-3-0 (36) 7. Dave Zyglewicz 33-7-0 (24) 8. Oscar Bonavena 34-9-0 (27) 9. Leotis Martin 33-11-2 (19) 10. Larry Middleton 31-4-2 (8) Later this month... Joe Frazier v George Foreman!! Last edited by aaaaaaaaa : 01-27-2008 at 01:26 PM. |

Holmes delivers brutal punishment from the bell to easily take the 1st. Holmes stuns Doyle and clearly wins 2nd. Holmes lands a big hook in the 3rd, to send Doyle down. Doyle struggles, but barely gets up. Another big round for Holmes. Doyle has his best round, as he fights gamely back, but still, Holmes wins the 4th. The big fight is set; George Foreman v Muhammad Ali The WBA and WBO champion George Foreman (26-0-0 with 26 KOs) shows incredible courage as he puts his undisputed heavyweight championship on the line against former world champion, Muhammad Ali (44-3-0 with 36 KOs). George Foreman pulled of a huge upset last month as he stopped the long reigning champion Joe Frazier (33-4-0 with 32 KOs) in the 4th round! Muhammad Ali is and has always been an incredible boxer, and is widely considered as, in his prime, one of the best heavyweights ever. He dominated the division with no fuss for almost a decade. He won the title in October 1962 against Amos Johnson and made 16 succesful defences until he lost it in July 1968 against Joe Frazier. George Foreman is after his impressive victories, the favourite. Foreman v Frazier will take place on the 8th of December at the Rand Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa. Muhammad Ali is the WBA mandatory challenger. The ring rankings Ch: George Foreman 26-0-0 (26) 1. Joe Frazier 33-4-0 (32) 2. Ken Norton 28-2-0 (24) 3. Al Lewis 30-2-2 (17) 4. Al Jones 33-5-0 (8) 5. well, here is something i do not get?
note that every fighter starts with 1000 pp. Leroy Jones 4-0-0 (2) His wins gave these points: 22,83 + 15,71 + 27,96 + 22,08.. BUT the total perfomance points are 1015?? How could this have happened? |

There is a bug in TBCB2 that if you close out your game, the pp sometimes doesn't save.
I keep track in the notes in my uni so at the rare times I do close out my game I can easily find all the ones that it didn't save on. This is no longer a problem in 2.5 |

He is the one who has the biggest chance. All the sluggers in the top doesn't stand a chance. Ken Norton and Jimmy Young on a good day could make a good fight with their defensive skills, but i only see Ali standing a chance of beating him.
