Planning a new management game.

I'm planning a new game where players would run their own management group. Here are the details:

- Each manager will control 4 fighters
- There will be an opening draft to begin the universe, but new managers may join afterward and take available fighters.
- Manager success will be measured by the amount of money earned fby all fighters, as a total. These amounts will be taken from the purses of the cards in TBB.
- Cards will be decided thus:
1. Cards will have 6 matches.
2. 6 Managers will be guaranteed spots in each card. These 6 managers will rotate if there are more than 6 in the universe.
3. In a rotating order, each manager will be allowed to make a match for the card. A match may be automatically made with an unowned fighter, or negotiated with a fighter owned by another player.
4. The prestige of each fight on the card will be determined by the average rating of the two fighters. (i.e. the #2 fight vs. the #8 fighter would be 5, and would appear closer the main event than the #1 fighter fighting the #50 fighter, where the average would be 25.5)
5. A management firm will receive their fighter's cut and add it to their total money amount.
6. Cards will be run weekly, probably on Thursday nights.
- At then end of the year, awards will be given to the top firms, among other awards.

Some other details:
- Each new fighter will be given 10 matches vs. unowned opponents of the manager's choosing that will occur "out of time," (without a meaningful date) though they will count toward aging. Any losses will count against the fighter's record.
- After these 10 matches are completed, the fighter will appear at the bottom of the rankings.
- All fighters will age by the default aging scale in the options screen.
- Managers may release a fighter at any time, and replace them with another.
- Am considering a salary cap, but I haven't had much time to think about it.
- The default active fighter universe in TBB 2.5 will be used as the fighter pool.
- I have not decided yet whether I will set all fighters to beginner or apply the career stages that I feel are accurate.

I will give more details later. Anyone here is invited to join, and I also invite any suggestions. It sounds like fun to me, and I hope you all feel the same.

More details:
- Each management firm will also be allowed one trainer to exclusively train their fighters, as well as a cutman. These will be included in the inital draft.
- I'll probably have to give them contracts, so that a few groups can't monopolize the best trainers.
- Each manager will be allowed to create a judge who may be fully customized upon creation, but not afterward.

Some more details:
- This will be a Heavyweight only universe.
- A fighter may increase his draw power by 1 by the following means:
1. His first appearance in the Top 5 in the rankings
2. His first title victory
3. His first title defense.
4. Every 2 title defenses after that.

Great! I'm planning on running it in a Yahoo group, so that I don't clutter this board and so things can be better organized. I'm still in the planning phase, but I'll keep you posted.
