H.O.B.O. Poll

Harris Martin calls out Tommy Ryan.

Back story:
In February 1896 the Heroes Organization released a pound for pound ranking with Harris Martin topping it. The day after those rankings were released the Heroes News Paper released a set of pound for pound rankings with Tommy Ryan at the top. Harris Martin obviously is upset about that and wants to prove that he is the best pound for pound fighter.

The fighters:
(WBC) MW Champ Harris Martin 24-0-0 (16)
Martin has beaten some of the top fighters in his division and recently went a brutal fifteen rounds with Charles Turner. He has only been knockeddown just one time. He has never been cut and has only caused one cut to an opponent. The one big note of interest on Martin is his opponents are more accurate than he with 41% compared to 30%.

(WBC) WW Champ Tommy Ryan 21-0-0 (13)
Ryan has also beaten the best of his division. Ryan has only been knockeddown just once in his career. Ryan has suffered four cuts and caused four cuts. Ryan has landed 42% of his punches compared to just 22% landed by his opponents.

The question:
Should Ryan move up to middleweight to fight Harris Martin for the title?

It will be an ongoing controversy until they meet. I'd say move him up. It would be too bad if Martin vacated before getting a chance to experience a Ryan assault first hand.

About time to close and it looks like Ryan will move up to face the P4P King in a battle for the ages. Keep an eye to the H.O.B.O. Universe Thread for scheduling of this battle.
