I like it. Just like the old days when boxing and wrestling went "hand-in-hand" so to speak (wasn't Ring magazine a major wrestling publication, as well as boxing when it was first published)?
Looking good so far. |

I believe that you are right about Ring magazine being both a boxing and wrestling magazine. The web site is still a work in progress, as I plan on tweaking it as we go. I may take the rest of the month to build it up and start the wrestling March 31st. As far as boxing, I may start tournaments next week. Just keep your eyes on it.

I'm leaning towards the Huxtables if only because of the numbers game, and
I think 5 and a half versus four may not be a fair fight, but as stated earlier I'm waiting for a bout between Sailor Tom Sharkey vs Sailor Art Thomas who happened to be a friend of the family during his wrestling days in Toronto. Greg

A blockbuster of a match will be signed at the end of the day on the CWF page. It will be up on my web site later. Also, there will be a revision of the WCBF. matches will start next week, but, instead of a tournament, we will be holding matches as normal. The first two fighters in each of the weight classes to reach 5 wins with a winning record will fight it out for the title. So it may take a couple of "years" to determin our champions there. Stay tuned folks.

Our First Fight Card
J.R.Morgan Productions Press Release:
The first ever World Class Boxing Federation fight card is in the books, and I must say that it was a grand debut to say the least. In the opening bout, Amado Cabato defeated Ever Hammer by a split decision. In the first prelim bout, Carl Morris defeated Leon Spinks by a KO. Here is the call in round 4:
In the co-feature, Steve Halaiko defeated Livio Minelli by a split decision. In the main event, Benny Marks won a majority decision over his worthy oponent, Gabriel Bernal. J.R.Morgan Productions, who own the WCBF, promises another action packed card next week. |
