Minor snafu w/ the db. I forgot to mark this bout as a Title Fight. No big deal since Bernard Taylor won the bout, but the bout is not tagged as a Title Bout in the fighter history or Title Lineage.

All of my stats records will show this fight correctly.

(I tried to manually change it, but can't do it)

I've tried before and I don't think it can be done.

Wow, heartbreaking end to the season, couldn't win the key matches when I needed them. I don't know that winning would have been a reward for either of us though with the Hebron juggernaught waiting

Quick Update...

No updates tonight. Just got home from work and need to head out for another dental appointment.

(Just a quick word of advice to all the youngsters out there - take care of your teeth or you'll be sorry later in life. Take it from me - you don't ever want to go through with what I am right now)

Thanks Chris.

The dentist told me that the infection in my jawbone was more extensive than was expected. The area affected beneath my lower front teeth was about the size a marble. The entire front wall of my jawbone was gone and the rear wall was paper thin. Apparently only the top portion of the lower jawbone was left. The dentist was amazed that I had not been in serious pain for quite a while.

My dentist called in a big-time oral surgeon from New Jersey who peeled back my gums, scraped out the infection and filled the big hole with a bone graft/putty mixture that will take 3 or 4 months to set. Then on to the fake-tooth implant and crown. Maybe this ordeal will be over by Thanksgiving...

Hang in there, Dave! We all feel for you. Bringing in a specialist from New Jersey means it is serious. Rest and recuperate a lot! And anyone that sends you peanut brittle should be expelled from the league! I hope that you are in less pain each day and that one day relatively soon, this will be behind you. Way behind you!

Damn, Dave. That sounds painful. Best wishes that you get through it okay.

Hard to believe it's almost two months since Scot last logged onto the board. That job of his must be a nightmare.
