Final Scores:

Bear's Unstable 16-14-2 (12) --- 52.0 Points
Baltimore Binks 14-16-2 (10) 1DQ --- 43.0 Points

We gave you a battle, Don, but the better team prevailed. Your heavies came thru splendidly. Rahman let us down. On a positive note, Loris Stecca, after 19 striaght defeats, got a win, and Johnny Hill drew with champion Terry Allen! In 110% hindsight, perhaps I should have kept Young Corbett II. He might have given me enough wins to make the playoff race a little closer. Best of luck in the playoffs!

Thanks, Mike
Your Binks are becoming a team to be reckoned with. The timing for my heavies showing up can be traced to Herbie Hide just turning prime. They shouldn't be a cake walk for anyone now. Saverese has been one of the better #6 rated guys and Hide can put anybody to sleep.

Good match LL.

Have to say I'm real happy with how my team finished the season, that 3 match winning streak gives me hope for next season. Good luck to all the playoff teams.

I should drive over for that one . . . it'll be better than some PPV cards!

The only other meeting between the Diggstown Ringers and Tomato City was back in Week 3 of Season 1. Diggstown won convincingly 59.0 - 42.5

I hope my poor team can keep it close this time.

Yeah, good run for your boys. Well, finished 5-5 and was on the tail end of the wild card race this season which is a big step up for my Left Jab team. Good luck to all the playoff teams.

Thanks, Chris. We started so well, then regressed, like both previous seasons. But I am pleased with the year. We always split with Mark and his Sluggers, and get beat by Diggstown and Bears Unstable. So we're 1-5 inside our division. I'm not sure if we'll ever be truly competitive, because I made some selections with my heart, not my head, but that's okay. Left Jab went 5-5, so there's hope for all of us! Well done, Hugh!

Some day, perhaps only with the aid of some nuclear device, we might top a team from Connecticut! Or not. As the Brooklyn Dodgers used to say, "we'll get youse guys next year!" We'll once again gladly be training with the Toronto team in the off-season!

I should be able to run the last match of the regular season tomorrow night. It will then take me a couple of days to update all of my spreadsheets before playoff time.

Congrats on a great season Claybor, we split our matches and had a pretty good race going for the division title for most of the season.
