Your Binks are becoming a team to be reckoned with. The timing for my heavies showing up can be traced to Herbie Hide just turning prime. They shouldn't be a cake walk for anyone now. Saverese has been one of the better #6 rated guys and Hide can put anybody to sleep.

I was a bit worried about the match after losing in Week 8 and 9. For the 2nd season in a row, Tomato City will be the absolute worst team qualifying for the playoffs and will most likely get smashed by #1 seeded Diggstown Ringers.

I should drive over for that one . . . it'll be better than some PPV cards!

The only other meeting between the Diggstown Ringers and Tomato City was back in Week 3 of Season 1. Diggstown won convincingly 59.0 - 42.5

Thanks, Chris. We started so well, then regressed, like both previous seasons. But I am pleased with the year. We always split with Mark and his Sluggers, and get beat by Diggstown and Bears Unstable. So we're 1-5 inside our division. I'm not sure if we'll ever be truly competitive, because I made some selections with my heart, not my head, but that's okay. Left Jab went 5-5, so there's hope for all of us! Well done, Hugh!

Some day, perhaps only with the aid of some nuclear device, we might top a team from Connecticut! Or not. As the Brooklyn Dodgers used to say, "we'll get youse guys next year!" We'll once again gladly be training with the Toronto team in the off-season!
