Although I didn't expect to win, I was surprised that some of my guys just laid down in this match. Plus 2 DQ losses really sucked. (In fact, there have been 5 DQ's so far in the playoffs.)

Last night I went out to Mohegan Sun to the fights. This was by far the worst CES show I have seen - and that's really saying alot.

First of all, Joey Spina sucks and should never be allowed to headline a card anywhere ever again. He didn't land a meaningful punch against 41-year-old, out of shape, 10+lbs. over the LHW limit Lou Del Valle who stood flat-footed like a statue the entire fight. Jimmy Burchfield must have really paid off the judges to score the fight as a Majority Draw. I didn't think that Spina won more than 1 or 2 rounds at best. Actually, the only punch he seemed to land was a thumb to the eye early on and numerous shots to the back of Del Valle's head.

As for the undercard, it was a joke. Hank Lundy 1st Rnd KO over some old relic who was some former micro-belt holder many years ago.

Mike-Mike Oliver was supposed to be on the card, but - big surpise - the fight never happened. 5 4-rounders also were terrible.
