ERROR!!

Hugh, I apologize. I didn't realize when I ran your match but I didn't get your flyweights switched in the db. I made all the changes to your roster everywhere but the database.

You were suppose to have (4)Dai Dower 4-10-0 (2) *pre-prime but I still had (3)Lyall Appo 2-16-0 (1) *pre-prime on your roster in the db when Left Jab's match was ran. If I need to make the change and re-run the match.......let me know.

Another reason I am glad I only have boys ... boys realize that gaming is far more important than anything going on in their lives

That's how I selected the initial team and found little Joey Symonds.

However, he wasn't this good!
I did the same thing . . and picked the guys who finished 17th and 18th in their weight class

I just scrutinized all of the ratings and weightclasses with an eyeball test and made lists of my top 12 to 15 guys at each weightclass and ranking. I'd only play test my top 2 or 3 against each other when they were too close for me to call

Thanks . . I guess I do know that. It's just been frustrating lately as I was the last 4-0 team, but am scuffling for a playoff spot.

Wishful thinking for the playoffs and eventual pounding leading to an early exit.
Even a close loss would give you the division. If my math is correct (and it may not be, those skills are rapidly deteriorating), I'll need at least a 10 pt. win against TC to take first again. Our last match was close so I'm not so sure my guys can pull it out. You have a very good chance and I wish you luck, it'll be a nail biter.
The wildcard race in the gold is close as well, depending on how Diggstown does in week 10.
My guys did well this season so I have no complaints.

My thinking for the future was, when in doubt pick a Puerto Rican. Perhaps I was wrong.

What has happened in the last few weeks, is at least I have some building blocks for the future, and at least shown some progress.

I echo the earlier post in that I wish Cobb had been a better fighter also because he certainly was entertaining.

No need to re-run the match my friend. Probably end up just as bad..LOL. No harm done. I am just not a very good judge of talent when it comes to TBCB/UTBA. No more excuses..Left Jab Inc is pretty damn terrible. I will keep plugging away as I have some draft picks to work with. Great playoff battles shaping up. Congrats to Tomato City..whupped up on me again. Take care fellas.

Just haven't had time to check in this past week. My daughter surprised me last week by buying a house instead of renting one for college. I've been very busy helping her with the closing and of course the moving. Should be able to put up a couple of matches late tonight and finish week 9 by this weekend. Sorry for the delay.......but my daughter informed me she comes first before boxing.

Good to hear. Just know that your neck of the woods has had its share of weather problems of late. Good to see everything is good in your world. Take care.

Intersting Chris. Thanks for the lowdown. Now,I will copy your methods LOL. I tend to pick guys that I like(Davis Jr.,Shavers,Nunn) instead of really picking the fighters that would do well in UTBA. Symonds has already made a name for himself in this league. When you think of it,he has really been quite amazing considering some of the competition. You sure have put together a good team my friend. Take care and good luck in the playoffs.

I pretty much did the same thing. I picked either fighters that I liked when I was a kid, or fighters that I had met, and liked with the exception of Sammy Luftspring(LOL) he either hated kids, or other peoples kids, I'm not sure which.

You ran into the rejuvenated Binks, else you'd be home free in the playoffs.

Running a tad behind guys.

The 100 degree temps are about to kill me. Not asking for any sympathy because it is my choice to work in it. When I get cooled off late tonight, I'll work on writing up the Gold results I've run so far and do my very best to finish week nine by tomorrow night. Just bear with me.

I feel you ... it is wearing me out also. Was back in today at noon and despite drinking 8 bottles of water it was almost 6pm before I had to pee.

I wish it were winter here..well we dont have much of a winter anymore with global warming and all,but I wish that we had the winters that I remember as a kid. I hate summer and hot weather unless I am near an ocean.
