Oops. Fixed. I was bound to make a mistake of some sort while posting. I put the list together quick last night and should have looked it over a bit more closely.

I was a rookie manager and was the only team in league history to start 4-0! (Ohhh, well, I did finish 6-4 and my lone mid-season pick-up was 0-10, but shhhhhhh!)

All kidding aside, I am amazed at the amount of time/effort and thought you put into all of the data. I know it's been said a million times, but your contribution really makes UTBA even more enjoyable. Thanks again. Now let's work on getting your error rate down.

Maybe the polling for this should be done after the regular season which I am going to pretend is the situation in this case otherwise it would be hard not to pick the person that wins it every single year. |

Man, Chris and Matt might have had better seasons but I have to give love to Lee on MOTY. Dude's team was made of total failure in the first UTBA and then turned around and built a squad that almost made the playoffs only missing because of tiebreakers. We already knew that Chris and Matt could build good squads no one knew Lee could.

I'll announce the Manager of the Year award for season one after the completion of week 1 of season 2. Hurry and get your votes in, you have approximately one week left to get them in.

I unassociated the two leagues since we were starting from scratch with UTBA 2 so my votes went a different direction athough it was a great start for Lee and quite the story none the less.

I am going to nominate Pitchit Siriwat and Benard Taylor for comeback fighters of the year.(wishful thinking) In all my test runs they have done fine so I am chalking up last season to beginners unluck
![]() I am predicting Stockholms's Finest to repeat in the Broughton division. Big Matt has a proven track record but right now I think Stockholm's Finest has a bit more firepower. In the Cribb division I really like Bears squad. Until Ortiz shows he can get a win and the Sluggers age a little bit I cant see picking any other way here. In the Mendoza it looks like Tomato City has a veteran team coming back and I think that will be enough for them to jump ahead of the younger Dusk Owls in the standings. This division as a whole looks much improved. It looks like Bonner Springs and the Dusk Owls have the inside track on the wild card position with the Sluggers not far behind. The Figg division looks to be dominated by Hebron Haymakers again as that team is still in tact unless the team suffers from some type of Championship runner up hangover that often times happens. I think Ice Tea makes a jump in the standings as his team should mature nicely together. The Nobodies have a strong future but may have given up their spot in the wild card with the addition of the younger fighters. The Caunt division was the one of the most competive divisions last year and it seems that is a strong possibility again this year. Brooks went with the youth movement which might leave him out of the running this year. Not an easy call here so I'll go with the defending division champs to repeat. Oakland is the most veteran team and I think the Undisputed Champions have a "potentially" very good team but the question marks remain. The oddity of the the league last year was Juggernaunts 1-5 divisional record and despite that being able to win the division. This league WAS the most competive division last year with 3 teams over 500 points. This year I think the punching bags and Villeberrys are too young to compete with the heavy veteran presence of the two teams finished ahead of them last year. I think Chilton wins the division with Juggernaunt fighting it out with IceTeabosing, Undisputered Champions and Oakland assassins for the wild card. *** Disclaimer *** I hope no one gets offended by my predictions as that is just what they are and they are based a lot off of last years standings and who has more pre-prime, prime fighters returning. |

Sometimes I think I'm starting to get the hand of this (at least, in my head). Other times, I feel like I'm flying by the seat of my pants. Right now, as of this posting, I sort of in "seat of the pants" territory. On the bright side, as the manager, I don't have to take any punches, so I guess things aren't too bad.
My understanding of draft strategies where on the "Put the square peg in the square hole and the round peg in the round hole" level. Or, a deer caught in the headlights while trying to decide which hole to push the square peg into with its hoof. I barely fogged the mirror my first go around, thankfully, that seemed to be good enough! |

Season 2 set to begin.
I've received word that the Binks made the safe trip across the giant pond and landed safely in Bendigo, Australia where the Boxing Kangaroos are ready to greet their visitors in the ring tomorrow. Of course, tomorrow here in the US is already taking place in Australia. These two teams have never met.The other opening match for season 2 is set to take place in the small town of Scammon KS where the Bald Beavers will play host to Bears Unstable. These two met last season in the first round of the playoffs. The wild-card Beavers upset the Cribb division winning Bear's last season and the Bears just might have revenge on their mind. |

I'm shocked that you didn't mention my teams stellar performance , as I was actually surprised that I broke 100 wins. I hope everyone has a good season, and that I can win at least once again. LOL
