Whew! Any win for the Binks is a nice one! Now we can relax, as there will be no 0 for! I scrolled down match by match, and starting off 0-5 made me think back to the beatings that Brooks Battlers and Hebron Haymakers gave us. It was a nice comeback. The Kangaroo lighter weights did great, our welters up were surprising. Getting the twin of the Hebron bus may have helped. Now its time to have a few Aussie brews!

Talking Let's get to the important stuff ...

Who is the Binks' round card girl?

Seriously, nice win for the Binks and hooray for former Barbarian Cocoa Kid representing as league champion with a pair of wins!

As much as I'd like some revenge I'm not anticipating getting it in this match. Beavers have 5 more guys at prime than Unstable.

I'll feel better when more of my guys hit prime.

Ah, but I'm 3 under cap, having been unable to make any positive changes to last season's roster.

so maybe that evens things out a little bit.

All-Time Tandems By Weight Class

I was going to post this a while ago and am just getting around to it now.

More stats (useless or not)...

Which team has put together the best one-two punch in each of the weight classes and how do they compare All-Time. While we are only beginning Season 2, I am maintaining a list of the highest-scoring pair (or 3 or 4+) of fighters for each weight class. As Season 2 progresses, I will post updates to this All-Time list once a team has entered the All-Time Top-10 list. But for now, here are the top-5 in each weight class for the end of Season 1 (only regular season - no playoffs or EOY):

I think the first season with these things will always produce flukey results. This may become our version of Cy Young's career wins record.

I'll bet that no team tops 540ish in season 2.

The Binks team did pretty well. I can see a lot will hinge on a fighter's career stage.

I'm not so sure about that Chris. With the addition of the 11+ fighters to the league and the cap management resulting in filling out a roster with 1's and 2's can allow teams to rack up a lot of easy points.
