Once Henry catches up in career stage to the rest of the league I got a feeling the WW belt will be staying with the Muckboys for a long while.

Think Turkey Day, Matt. I'm sure the draft will be done by then. Then again, as the champion, do you even need to draft anyone?

What can I say? I'm a participator at heart...

Not really the original plan to take such a high rating but there were no 10s were I wanted and my WW suck hard so what the hell might as well.
I love Hank. One of my favorite fighters of all time.

Another nice thing about Armstrong is you can move him to a different weight class in the future if you so desire.

We should add the deadweight class. I have a couple of guys that would qualify as well.

I have given some thought to moving Hank down to FW, him and Saldivar would make a nasty duo, but I like Chalky Wright who I think is going to make a big improvement next season so I decided against it for now. Still it is nice to have the option to do it at a later day and it was one of the main reasons I took Hank.

Ha, yeah I got too many guys that would qualify for it. At least they'll prove useful as a means to open up cap space.

We all have a deadweight or two.

Armstrong was rated as an 11 at FW as I recall. My initial intention was to draft him there but the new team formulation rules dictated a 10 as the highest pick.

Can't you draft him as a 10 at WW, then shift him to FW? Are there clear rules on this?

He's rated 14 at welterweight not 10 and he's an 11 at featherweight.

So which ever weight class an owner puts him in, he has to carry his rating with for the respective weight class.

During the draft, an owner must declare which weight class he is drafting for the multiple rated fighters. I believe we decided that an owner could switch a fighter's weight class but had to do it before the season began and had to keep the fighter there for the whole season.

One problem I see with doing the draft this way is that when someone makes a pick they have to check to see if someone else already has a fighter they might want to pick. Under the old system it was much easier because we all knew exactly which fighters were available because they were listed in the draft pool.

Not sure what I'm going to do as I don't have 2.5 so I can't access the database and the one on the website is kind of inadequate coz it doesn't list what division the fighters are in and there's no feature to search it by division either.

Sorry about this. I'm doing the best I can and what works within my schedule. It saves me time for other things to do it this way plus it gives the owners the chance to get someone they want instead of fighters that I pick.

The first post is updated constantly including which fighters have been selected. One quick glance and you can see who has been selected.

No problem, Scot. I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining or anything. Sorry about that. You are doing a fantastic job with this. Romultiltus was able to PM me a list of available fighters that I'll pick from so I'll be okay. Both of you have been great in running this uni.

No worries Dan. I know you're not complaining. I know your db situation and I realize that drafting this way makes it hard for you.

Made a correction to Toronto Tornados first pick. I missed it somewhere today flying around in my work truck looking for a wireless signal on the laptop.

It was brought to my attention that he selected (10) HW George Chuvalo with his first pick. I have placed Chuvalo on the Tornado's roster and placed (7) Uriah Grant back in the draft pool.

For your information.................

For any rating number (no-name) that is in the draft and is not drafted, they (rating numbers) will not be added to the waiver pool after the draft is over.

I would like to draft Ken Norton and put Travis Walker back in the draft pool. I hope I am not too late. I sent the request to Sal and the utbamod both.

Norton is already on the Juggernaut team.

Please make another selection.

OK............THE DRAFT IS ON HOLD FOR 30 HOURS
(The draft is suspended until 4 pm CST on November 6)

I've spent 10 hours over the last three days and two evenings and have accomplished really nothing on this draft. This is a waste of too much of my personal time.

We need a change within the next 30 hours. Three options posted below.

1) First, if someone wants to step up and take over the commissioner duties of this league, respond to this post here within the next 30 hours and I'll gladly step down.

2) If nobody wants the commish duties, I'm going to change the way we are drafting. The change will be a dictatorship and not open for discussion. I can no longer waste my personal time for nothing. I enjoy running the league but not enough to give up my personal time.

3) All someone has to state is they want me to step down as commish and it will be a done deal and I'll let someone else worry about the league and how to finish the draft.

I will not send out any PM's concerning this post. For the owners that are really interested in this league, they will see it here.
