I personally think he's the best WW in the game so I'm pretty happy with having him on the team. Plus, it doesn't really hurt my cap that much since all I have to do is drop George Manley, who is just deadweight, and I have enough space to afford Henry and upgrade another fighter I wanted to. Once Henry catches up in career stage to the rest of the league I got a feeling the WW belt will be staying with the Muckboys for a long while.

Another nice thing about Armstrong is you can move him to a different weight class in the future if you so desire. |

Ha, yeah I got too many guys that would qualify for it. At least they'll prove useful as a means to open up cap space.

Armstrong was rated as an 11 at FW as I recall. My initial intention was to draft him there but the new team formulation rules dictated a 10 as the highest pick.

So which ever weight class an owner puts him in, he has to carry his rating with for the respective weight class. During the draft, an owner must declare which weight class he is drafting for the multiple rated fighters. I believe we decided that an owner could switch a fighter's weight class but had to do it before the season began and had to keep the fighter there for the whole season. One problem I see with doing the draft this way is that when someone makes a pick they have to check to see if someone else already has a fighter they might want to pick. Under the old system it was much easier because we all knew exactly which fighters were available because they were listed in the draft pool.
Not sure what I'm going to do as I don't have 2.5 so I can't access the database and the one on the website is kind of inadequate coz it doesn't list what division the fighters are in and there's no feature to search it by division either.

Made a correction to Toronto Tornados first pick. I missed it somewhere today flying around in my work truck looking for a wireless signal on the laptop.
It was brought to my attention that he selected (10) HW George Chuvalo with his first pick. I have placed Chuvalo on the Tornado's roster and placed (7) Uriah Grant back in the draft pool. |

I would like to draft Ken Norton and put Travis Walker back in the draft pool. I hope I am not too late. I sent the request to Sal and the utbamod both.

OK............THE DRAFT IS ON HOLD FOR 30 HOURS
(The draft is suspended until 4 pm CST on November 6) I've spent 10 hours over the last three days and two evenings and have accomplished really nothing on this draft. This is a waste of too much of my personal time. We need a change within the next 30 hours. Three options posted below. 1) First, if someone wants to step up and take over the commissioner duties of this league, respond to this post here within the next 30 hours and I'll gladly step down. 2) If nobody wants the commish duties, I'm going to change the way we are drafting. The change will be a dictatorship and not open for discussion. I can no longer waste my personal time for nothing. I enjoy running the league but not enough to give up my personal time. 3) All someone has to state is they want me to step down as commish and it will be a done deal and I'll let someone else worry about the league and how to finish the draft. I will not send out any PM's concerning this post. For the owners that are really interested in this league, they will see it here. Last edited by SAL; 11-05-2008 at 04:09 PM. |

I vote #2. Handle the draft however you see fit. I hope that my nonsense didn't contrbute to any problems here, but if so, please let me know and I'll try to change my rotten ways.
