The UTBA-II Season 3 Draft is now complete.

I will probably open up the 1st Waivers round tomorrow.

I will try to update the roster pages today and tomorrow but I have to get out of the house for a while first.

Now I gotta talk trade with the Diggstown lads. With Mel slipping through my fingers, I don't see how anyone can stop them!!!

Of course, we can vote on this again if there is enough interest and if a majority of league members want it, then we can work something out, keeping in mind that the league will run much slower than it does now.
It would be nice so that the new fighters arent "cans" for the veteran fighters and teams can reload instead of rebuild but its perfectly understandable that this would likely add more work than it is worth.

I'd be willing to save Dave the work of running the minor league bouts if that would help.

I wouldn't mind this, but make it extremely limited, I.E 2-3 fighters per team and instead of weight classes they all fight P4P and maybe have their entire "season" take place in one shot through autoscheduler, so the development would be based a little on fate.

This could keep it simple and add an element of randomness as well. I would also be in favor of a 1 season limit in the minors, which I think was in the first version as well.

I am going to need a day or so to update all of my spreadsheets and Team Roster pages.

Once Waivers is opened up, I will post the Waivers Priority list (which is basically the original drafting order based on Season 3 performance)

Once a fighter is claimed off waivers, the team gets put at the bottom of the Waiver Priority list. The only time the Wavier Priority list comes into play is when 2 teams claim the same fighter in the same Waiver Round. Whichever team is higher on the Waiver Priority list gets the fighter.

Also, when submitting waiver requests to me (Romultiltus) by PM, you must designate which fighter on your roster will get dumped back into the Free Agent/Waiver Pool.

For now, teams are allowed to be over the 105-point cap, but a date will be set for all teams to be at or under the 105-point cap.

ALL TEAMS MUST BE AT OR BENEATH THE 105-POINT CAP BY 8:00PM EST on MONDAY 22 FEBRUARY 2010.

The UTBA-II Commissioner reserves the right to adjust the roster of any team above the cap after the date in order to bring the roster into compliance with the 105-point cap.

Trading of fighters and/or draft picks is welcome during the Waivers period. Please PM me (Romultiltus) with any trades or roster moves.

Dropping fighters from your roster into the Free Agent/Waiver Pool can be handled via PM or a post in either UTBA thread.

even just a beginner only league ... and they could just fight guys that are in the FA pool who are pre-prime or lower ... it doesn't even have to be a team vs. team thing ... once a fighter goes pre-prime he has to join your team or become a FA
