When the Role Play version comes out, will we have to start all over again? Guess it'll be worth doing.

Anyone else ever feel "These aren't fighters, they're just a bunch of numbers and you can't replicate humans with a bunch of numbers."? I think I read somebody else saying something like this a few weeks ago. Maybe it was a different forum.

Cube, Keep up the good work. I'm really enjoying following your universe. I'm also contemplating adding your aging system to my universe. However, I'm not quite clear on a couple of things. Do the first twenty fights count against a fighters 100 points? And does a comeback win actually cost .25 points (1 pt for comeback win - 1.25 per fight) or do you just give them one point? Thanks.

The fights before prime don't count against a fighter's 100 points. Comeback wins come out even at 0. Thanks for your kind words. I enjoy making it up.

Great universe cube.

I wasn't around for your previous universe and was wondering how you choose your starting boxers in each weight class. Is it just 10% at random? And also would it be possibel to get more info on how you do your monthly scheduling?

Thanks.

that's the link that cube answered for me. I use his scheduling format, I have to say I couldn't have come up with anything better

Cube,

I have another question about how you schedule. I think I understand everything except for the following

" Modified by this rule. 70% of the time a fighter fights the nearest ranked fighter also fighting that month, that also rolled within the 70% ranking scheme."

Was wondering if you could explain this?

Thanks.

I mean that ranked fighters (only) are split into 2 groups and I match them from there. For each fighter eligible to fight a given month you roll 1 100 sided dice. Rolling a 100 sided dice 1-70 means the fighter is put into a group of others that rolled 1-70. The 1-70 group matches up a fighter with the fighter nearest him in the rankings. If a fighter rolls 71-100 He's put into a group that matches up based on overall rating. For the 71-100 group say there are 8 fighters in that group. The highest overall rated fighter fights the lowest. So number 1 would fight number 8, 2 would fight 7 and so on. If a fighter is unranked he obviously is automatically in the 71-100 group.

I hope this clears it up a bit for you.

This is an outstanding way of arranging everything Cube. Very nicely done. If I can get this problem I'm having with the game taken care of, I hope to do a league/universe myself.

Looks very interesting.
