As a reminder, there will be the first IBO title bouts this month. The IBO title is only fought for in December and it's between the two best Regional title holders. If the IBO title holder loses his regional belt during the year, the IBO belt is vacated.

I'm very curious for the end of the year rankings this year. Nice idea about the IBO title by the way.

Thats a solid group of fights. You don't get much bigger then Langford/Jackson while Heenan/Moran and Jeffries/Sullivan should be fun.

Samson Korner has been pretty tough so far too, hopefully he'll give the bare-knuckler a battle.

Notes on end of the year and my schedule.

Once the month is over I will do all my EOY stuff with the 1900's first. Retirements, this is the first year I am doing random post-prime movements, bringing in the new fighters and all the EOY stats. Will probably be done with the fight cards for December sometime next week.

Then I will run the next 3 months of LBA 60's.

Just a side note, the only aging movement I have yet to see is Prime to Post-Prime. With it set at 20-50 though I imagine it will be a couple of more universe years before I see the first one.

Always good to see Ryan in action even it looks like he should win easily.

That has to be one of the worse combined records in a major title fight in LBA history. I'm taking Curley to win himself that belt. Tough break for Tommy Dixon to lose his undefeated record to a TC.

Second time Whistler has been champ also. He defeated Jimmy Briggs way back in 1904 to take the title then lost to Attell in the next fight. He dropped down to club for a while and was brought back up just prior to his title fight win over Jem Driscoll. He is 8-1-2 in his last 11 fights.

Curley on the other hand at 21-9 isn't that far behind Herrera's 24-9 record, so his isn't all that bad. This is his first title shot and he beat Whistler back in 1905 to drop Whistler to the club ranks.

No, Curley's record isn't that bad but Whistler's is. I don't think you've had a title fight with the two fighters that had a combined 24 losses which is what I was getting at. Have to give it to Whistler becoming a two time champ is tough but I doubt that his reign will last longer.
