At the end of the following year the will have a 50% chance of coming back. If they fail to come back then the second year they are retired they will have a 25% chance.

Hey, one of my recent creations made the cut Now I suppose I'll have to follow along.

By the way, Boxrec lists McAllister as a MW. I put him at LH due to his average weight and opponent list, you could put him in either division (One of his three losses was to Gibbons who you have starting this year as well)

I'll leave him in LHW since that division is weak and took a hit with Choynski moving up to HW. If you follow, you won't see much of him this year, as I tend not to say too much about beginners until they get their 5th win and move up.

I know I lowered the rating of a couple of guys that were too high IMO, I don't think he was one, but Gibbons might have been. No disrespect to your ratings meant.

Total Fighter count for 1908

Total fighters = 664

HW - 40 beg, 55 club, 60 main = 155 total
LHW - 24 beg, 25 club, 19 main = 68 total
MW - 36 beg, 22 club, 31 main = 89 total
WW - 30 beg, 18 club, 20 main = 68 total
LW - 59 beg, 31 club, 20 main = 110 total
FW - 40 beg, 37 club, 14 main = 91 total
BW - 31 beg, 26 club, 17 main = 74 total
FLY - 7 beg, 2 club = 9 total

Also there will be no LBF champion until the weight class has 40 fighters in the main division. So HW will remain the only division with a LBF champ for the time being.

Also I am expanding HW championship qualifications for a title shot to top 20.

HW - Dominic McCaffrey (19-7-3) vs #5 John J. Dwyer (19-6-1) (Never fought)
WW - Peter Jackson (14-3) vs #7 Dick Burge (12-15-2) (never fought .. Burge qualifies under my rules)

McCaffrey cruises to easy win over Dwyer

January 3, 1908

Dominic McCaffrey (20-7-3) scored an easy UD15 over #5 John J. Dwyer (19-7-1) for his second defense of his LBC Heavyweight title.

Dwyer was competitive in the early going winning the first 3 rounds, but then it was all McCaffrey from then on. Dominic didn't lose a round after the 7th. Neither fighter was down, Dwyer was cut over the left eye in the 3rd.

Dwyer is now 0-3 in title matches.

Both Dan Cuoco, ringside, and I had it 147-139. The official judges had it 148-139/147-140/146-139.

On the undercard

HW - Tommy Dugan (9-1) UD10 Morris Grant (11-14-5)
HW - John Heenan (18-6-1) KO9 Tom Allen (16-10)
MW - Sailor Burke (7-0) KO3 Johnny McGlade (10-17-3) (Burke fought at pp for this club fight)
LW - Young Otto (6-13-2) UD8 Irish Jack Smith (5-1) (Smith fought at pp for this club fight)
LW - Jimmy Mitchell (12-19-1) TKO4 Austin Gibbons (14-16-2) (Gibbons blew a big opportunity to go back to main and prime in this club fight)
