Ha true enough you do got plenty of time it was just that I got suddenly curious about how you'll handle stuff like that and the Ali exile. Well hopefully you can keep the LBA up and running and we'll get the chance to find out.

Herrera gets win on ref's quick trigger

I am going to list the before and after rankings now on the fight cards listed as (before/after) all rankings will be the LBA rankings unless it's a title fight for another organization.

June 28, 1909

Aurelio Herrera (19/13) (15-8) won on a 3rd round disqualification over Patsy Sweeney (4/6) (11-10-2).

Referee Joe Cortez warned Sweeney about head butting in the second round and then stopped the fight in the 3rd as Sweeney was caught swinging with his head.

The fight was uneventful to that point.

On the undercard

FW - Young Corbett (8/7) (17-14-4) KO7 Frank Zimpher (UR) (9-4)
LW - Tim Kearns (25/24) (8-7-2) UD10 Sam Bolen (2/7) (10-10-1)
LH - Patsy Cardiff (10/10) (12-11) KO5 Ralph Calloway (UR) (6-7-1)
BW - Jimmy Barry (UR) (8-0) UD8 Dave Ross (UR) (5-4-1) (both fighters at pp for this club fight)
WW - Matty Matthews (club) (14-19-2) UD10 Mike Sullivan (club) (12-17-4) (club fight)

Dixon keeps title on a draw

I am going to list the before and after rankings now on the fight cards listed as (before/after) all rankings will be the LBA rankings unless it's a title fight for another organization.

June 30, 1909

George Dixon (c/c) (27-7-1) retained his LBC Bantamweight title with a 15 round Draw against Johnny Coulon (1/1) (20-3-1). These two fighters are now 1-1-1 against each other.

The fight was a close fairly boring fight the entire way. No round was lopsided one way or the other. Dixon suffered a minor cut in the second round over his left eye. It was reopened 3 times, with the doctor looking at it once in the 12th.

Coulon was never cut and neither fighter was down.

I had the fight 145-143 for Dixon. Mirco Mizera, ringside expert, had it 143-143. The official judges scored it 142-144/144-143/143-143.

On the undercard

MW - Bob Moha (9/10) (10-3-3) DRAW10 Joe Thomas (14/20) (11-3-3)
FW - Billy Snailham (UR) (12-2) KO5 Tim Hegarty (UR) (9-5)
LH - Billy McColl (19/18) (8-10) UD10 Dan Flynn (6/8) (11-4-2)
FW - Sammy Kelly (15/15) (9-7-1) UD10 Jimmy Dime (UR) (8-4)
HW - Joe Lannon (club) (15-20) MD10 John Haines (club) (13-19-2)

End of June 1909

Rough month for the champions as they went 1-2-2. Three champs retained their title but only Jack Johnson did so convincingly. Billy Baker lost his as did Billy Papke. Although the controversy surrounding the Papke fight caused the commissioner (me) to declare the title vacant and order an immediate rematch between Papke and McCoy.

Several fighters made their debuts in the rankings this month and several fighters moved up to main.

Movement

HW - Bill Farnam (15-15-1) club to main

LH - Henri Placke (5-6-2), Rough Thompson (8-4) club to main

MW - Ed Denfass (8-4), Bill Fleming (8-0) club to main

WW - Jack McGinty (8-0-2) club to main

LW - Billy Willis (8-2), George Washington (6-4-3), George Siddons (8-3), Johnny Clark (8-3-2) club to main

FW - Billy Ross (6-7), Percy Cove (8-2-1), Jack Pearson (5-7-1) club to main

BW - Jimmy Barry (8-0) club to main

Debut rankings (#of fighters ranked HW-61/LH-20/MW-30/WW-19/LW-29/FW-20/BW-19/FLY-2)

HW - Stockings Conroy (7-5-3) (A58/C59/F59)
HW- George Perry (7-4-4) (A48/C50/F48)
WW - William Sullivan (9-4-2) (A18/C18)
LW - Eddie Hanlon (11-3-1) (A2/C2)
LW - Jack Daly (8-6-1) (A27/C27)
FW - Jerry Marshall (8-6-1) (A10/C10)
BW - Johnny Murphy (13-1-1) (A3/C2)
BW - Hugh McGovern (7-4-4) (A11/C11)

June's fights attached

Why are you going to see only the LBA rankings?

Not sure I understand the question, but if you are asking why those are the rankings I am using for movement on the fight cards well then it's because I don't see much variation in TBCB2 unfortunately and that is the main one in my universe.

The LBA was the first title fought for in every division, then the LBC and then the LBF.

Your right about that, thats the one thing thats borthered me about TBCB2 is that the title rankings are almost always the same unlike the first one where you go get some pretty different rankings.

He's at 8-0 but he was on mh2365's prospect list so he'll probably lose his next fight as the Javier cruse stirkes again.

LOL actually he is trying to wait out the Javier curse ... July didn't call his number either so this will be his 3rd inactive month. Worse case is he will fight in September automatically, but he'll have a 70% chance to fight in August.

July 1909 title fights

Not much here this month. Three champs in action but only two in title fights. The title fights are not hard ones either.

LHW - (LBA) Bob Fitzsimmons (31-4) vs #7 George Byers (12-5-1) First fight

LW - (LBA/C) Jack McAuliffe (29-5-2) vs #5 Harry Gilmore (23-13-1) Third fight between the two, both have won a UD10

FW - (NT) Jem Driscoll (32-5) vs #14BW Watty Austin (11-11-2)

*** note ** going back to using post prime and end for reasons not explainable right now. Because of the high drop off though, starting next month pre/post/end will all have a 50% chance of facing a TC everytime they are scheduled to fight which should help keep their records in check. As always in the LBA this rule will stay in effect until I feel like changing it
