Heavyweight Regional Title Fights

Changed my mind, no tourneys for these just the top two PP fighters in each region. (that's night fighting in a different tourney)

AABU - George Godfrey (25-14-3) vs. Arthur Warren (8-2-1) (warren in club ranks and at pre)

USBA - John Heenan (25-8-1) vs. Jack Boylan (14-1-2) (boylan at pre)

CBU - Bill Lang (21-6) vs. Larry Foley (25-8-3)

EBU - only 3 fighters need more before awarding a title.

going to do one division each month.

Larry Foley withdrawls from the CBU championship so he can face Sam Langford for the WBC title. Frank Slavin will step in to face Bill Lang for the CBU regional title.

Word out of the LBA is that fan-favorite Bob McAllister has signed to fight for a title. More later.

I thought that no-good handler of his was going to kid-glove him until he hits his prime!

well that all changes if they get a title shot. He actually got lucky by missing the tourney. Bob is ranked 12th and 8 of the guys in front of him are in the tourney. Two weren't scheduled and the other two were also pre-primes who got chosen to fight TC's. If he wins he'll go to prime, which will shorten his career a little but would give him a better shot in fights now.

That seems doable, even at pre-prime.

Despite wanting to lower the # of fight cards, I just couldn't seem to drop it below 15 this month .... I guess I have to just come to terms with the fact that this is going to take forever LOL. Good thing is though I am still sold on the historical sim.

Maybe down the road I'll start mixing it up but I doubt it.

It's a random chance on what titles they defend if they own multiple titles. Langford and Briggs rolled only to defend one title. If they lose the other title becomes vacant.

Also if they defend the same title 3 times in a row without defending the other they are stripped of the one they ignored.
