He needs to get moving if he is to get a belt of some sort, here are a few other names waiting in the wings in North America: Freddie Steel 8-0-0 Jake Lanita 7-0-0 Mike Gibbons 1-0-0 Dave Shade 1-0-0 George La Blanche 8-0-0 Ben Kerby 1-0-0 Freddie Apostolic 1-0-0 Frank Klaus 1-0-0 Gorilla Jones 8-0-0 Alex Hilton 1-0-0 Ad Zachow 1-0-0 Rocky Grazia no 9-0-0 Paul Pander (17-0-0) is currently the main MW champ in North America. The International competition is pretty steep as well; the world champ is South African Mpush Makembe (27-0-0) and the world number 1 challenger is Dave Sands of Australia (32-2-0) whose only two losses were to Makembe in World title fights. So Austin has a pretty tough row to hoe.

Excellent stuff as always Chris.
Interesting to see Olympic great Teo Stevenson featuring in a uni. Makes you wonder what he'd have accomplished had he joined the paid ranks.

Vysotsky was a lefty, I believe. That may be why he gave Stevenson trouble - I don't really know, but it is too bad that we never saw him in the pro mix (or Vysotsky for that matter).

I finally finished re-vamping the Regional, National and Minor title pages. I think that is the last of the pages that were destroyed in the meltdown (except for the image download pages that I won't be re-doing)
You can view it here. (I even added a snappy tune.) Now I can get back to February, 1903 (after I mow the lawn, coach a little league game, get the kids to and from a few other events and finish some work on a set of financial statements) Christopher

Excellent stuff Chris. Love the music. Just wondering how Mick Leahy and Danny McAlinden are doing? I can see that they've both turned pro.

After 8 to 10 bouts, they can contend for the Irish, English or Empire titles and eventually the European or World crown - I'll keep you posted. At the present: Mick Leahy (fighting out of Cork) Middleweight (David Myers' rating) 01-24-03 W UD6 Faisal Obsodieh - Lifford, Ireland 02-22-03 W UD6 Bjorne Bersi - Limerick, Ireland Danny McAlinden (fighting out of Newry) Heavyweight (Rocco Del Sesto's rating) 01-10-03 W KO4 Vladimir Tarlev - Arklow, Ireland 01-21-03 W TKO4 Guzman Regueiro - Waterford, Ireland McAlinden is set to fight again in February, 1903 (tonight as luck would have it) then not again until April. I'll move him to Coventry prior to this next fight.

Thanks for the good word Ian. As the Grand Poobah of this thing, I can assure you that your boys will win a belt of some sort. After they get that slanted break though, they're on their own - no more back room pay offs.

Thanks Brooks.
I am in the process of assembling the rookie class of 1904 (mixed era). I will add approximately 10 fighters per division this time around. If anyone has any recommendations or requests I'd be happy to include them.
