How many of you are hanging out working on your universes while we wait?

I just had Muangchai Kittikaasem take the Asian and Pacific JFly title. The guy's an animal, 31-0-0 with 28 stoppages and six defenses of his Thai belt are already behind him. He is at prime and only 19 (16 as a rookie).

It will be a week or so before the next Glasgow Picayune issue is ready though.

I have just been overwhelmed with life of late - not working on my uni much or even reading all the great stuff going on in other uni's. Finally had a chance over the past couple of days to catch up a little. Glad to see you are keeping at it.

Always loved your site, which was ultimately what inspired me to get my uni rolling. One of these days, I'm going to get a web site going when time permits - at least, I keep telling myself this...

Hi Chris,
I just wanted to compliment you on your site, very very well done. I love the style. I am also very impressed with the depth of your universe, you have obviously put a lot of work into it. I especially like the way you've taken the U.S. fighters and divided them into regions. You're giving me some ideas here..just what I need, to make my league more complicated! Keep up the good work.

I totally agree with Bronxbomber. The trouble is I can't seem to get into the latest issue and I want to read about Danny McAlinden

Wow, good career start fro McAlinden. Is he eligible for the English title?

Okay Chris i am assuming you are getting the other fight results from some report and copying them then pasting them on your site. If you are where are you getting this info from? I wouldnt thing you are manually typing the results but i could be wrong.

Thank you!

Here is the link to all the regional, national and minor belts in play. Forty five in all - it's a bit insane but believe it or not I have a few more that I may add.

Currently, the European (EBF) champ, Scot Welch also holds the English belt. He has not defended it since he won it two years ago.

I could strip him and match McAlinden against one of the following young English Heavies:

(4) Tom Allen 6-0-1
(3) Reg Andrews 7-1-0
(1) Barry Ellis 2-7-1
(8) Joe Bugner 5-0-1
(5) Sir Henry Cooper 7-0-0
(8) Jack Gardner 7-0-1
(9) Jem Mace 7-0-0
(8) Thomas Sayers 7-0-0

You choose. He is not fighting in the current month (September 1903) but should fight another stiff in October. I'll have Welch vacate the minor belt and set up your match for November. Remember that McAlinden is rated a three and I let anyone fight for these minor belts.

Ian:

You can add Northern Irish heavy (1) Gordon Ferris 5-5-0 to the mix as a potential opponent too.

The other results are sadly all done manually. These are just selected fights, meaning they are of interest to me (I run about 2,000 to 2,300 fights per month so they have to be pared down).

All the rankings (over 100 posted every quarter) are cut and paste from the rankings print function.

I think we'll go for Barry Ellis, who seems the easiest option.
It would be great if he could win that belt, but realistically I don't think he'd go much further than maybe the British title.

Great! I'll push the fight up to October so we won't have to wait a few months of real time.

After that, I'll let him defend against Reg Andrews and the Northern Irish fellow but he'll be thrown in the river after that.

Leeskye was kind enough to lend his talents in helping me with the trophies for the horse racing series mentioned above. He did a great job!

Here is the Explorers Cup which will be awarded to each season points leader.
